Hi there! I'm Derrika, a sweet 1-year-old girl who was rescued from a local kill shelter by Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I might be a little shy at first, but with some time and patience, I really start to open up! I just need a family who is understanding of this and works with me! 7/30/24. Three year old DD aka Daisy (to her foster) is still looking for her forever home. This beautiful girl first came to us after being found fending for herself alone for months. She was initially only interactive with other dogs but after several months with our incredible foster she has become much more playful, goofy, loving and interactive with her humans. She is still a bit shy at first but with love and patience warms up and relishes the affection and attention. She thrives in the company of other dogs so another dog is a must for her. She likes both males and females. She is crate trained, in fact loves her crate and walks well on a leash. She has good recall but a 6 foot fence is a must for her. She is a quiet sweet pretty dober girl, perfect for someone who works from home. She has been through a lot and is so deserving of a furever family. Could you be it? 4/30/24 3 year old DD is still waiting for her furever family. This sweet and quiet girl has come such a long way with our incredible foster after being found in Miami left to fend for herself for months. She loves playing fetch with her foster brother, loves playing with her kong tovs and taking in all the smells on her walks. She loves her crate and is a very easy and calm dog. DD thrives and is playful in the company of other dogs so another dog is a must for DD as well as a very secure fenced in yard. She needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Because she is so auiet and calm she is ideal for someone who works from home. 8/10/24 Meet NIKE. This 5 year old adorable red Dobie boy has been waiting patiently for his person. We don’t have a lot of history on him as he came from another shelter but we suspect he didn’t have a lot of love or attention in his previous life. He is grateful to be taken out and go for walks and once he gets to know you warms up and has a pep in his step. He is highly treat motivated and very eager to please. He is currently working with our trainer over at board and train and learning that interacting with people is better than holding on to his toys. If you are looking for a quiet loyal companion and are an adult only home then please consider NIKE. 3/22/24 Nike is still here. He is an incredibly smart, driven, 5 year old male. He is food motivated and is a fast learner. He is looking for a home that can help him reach his full potential as he is very smart and eager to please. 8/12/24. Volunteer favorite ACE is looking for his furever home. This sweet and docile 5 year old Doberman lost his home due to financial duress. ACE longs for attention and affection from his humans and wants nothing more than to put his head in your lap for pets. ACE forms strong attachments to his family and therefore can be warv of new people entering his home and will need a knowledgeable dog owner and a home with a fenced yard . Although he has shown no reaction to other dogs at the rescue, he would be best as only dog.
