Story
Meet at A puppies! These sweet souls were found dumped on the side of the road at just one day old! Furkids rescued the litter and they were bottle fed by a dedicated foster family around the clock. Ares is a sweet boy that plays hard with his favorite toy and then naps hard, preferably on your lap. He is crate trained, is learning to be potty trained, and likes a car ride. He's practicing his manners to sit for a treat. He's really a good boy. Now that they pups are all ready to be adopted, we're looking for the BEST forever family for each of them so they will be loved for the rest of their lives. The puppies were born on 03/20/2024 and each has as adoption fee of $175. They have all been spayed/neutered, are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations & preventatives, and are microchipped. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about these puppies, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Nova.  We were told Nova's dad was in the military and deployed, leaving three Dobermans with no where to go. The boys found safety, but the person who was going to take her, planned to breed her asap. As soon as we found out about the situation we knew we needed to help.  Nova is now safe with us. It’s so sad because her world has been turned upside down and if you know the breed - you know how sensitive they are. We saw a picture of her laying in the sunshine tucked against her brothers, and out of nowhere it all changed. This big baby is about as tender hearted as they come. Dobermans are often referred to as “dogs with the human mind” because they are to intune to what owners are feeling too. Needless to say this has been a lot for her. Nova is 1.5-2 years old and 80 pounds.  Nova needs a dobie loving home where she can thrive and be cherished. She’s been great with all the dogs she’s met thus far and loves kids! For more info please contact us asap! Please share with any Doberman lovers you know as well. We all thank you for helping us make these happily ever after s happen. Email adrienne@rescuemega.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous firsthand ownership experience with purebred Dobermans is a strict requirement to adopt Nova ##1703116##

Story
Forrest was found on the side of the ride after stepping into traffic. He was unharmed, but he was very timid and unsure. He was desperate for water and a snack which I had available for my own dog that was in the car. After a few minutes of feeding him treats and allowing him to get a sip of water, I was able to get a slip leash over him and into the car. After his first night he grew and confidence and would play with his foster sister. Forrest is a puppy between 9-12 months. He is very friendly, sweet with most other dogs and people, and very food motivated. I would say his only requirement is a loving home and plenty of treats.
