Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

So here I was, minding my own business at the Target store.... when I was saved by a nice couple who saw me giving birth in the parking lot :( It was cold and it was scary and no one knew if i had puppies anywhere else or if my single puppy was going to live ;( It was a scary time...luckily the rescue had a foster who took me home and I proceeded to give birth to 7 more little ankle biters that day!!! And now my little puppy torpedos are almost old enough to be adopted and I am getting ready to find my real home too!! I am now fully in the POST PARTUM part of my life! My babies are all grown and OUT of the nest and I am ready for a family of my own!! (preferably one that DOESN'T shop at Target :) I have the sweetest and most loving personality. I want to have a sweet and loving family too. I am active and playful but will lay in your lap for hours if you scratch me and kiss me and love me! I am a loyal girl and will give you the best years of my life!! promise :) I am.just so ready for you, please fill out the application and I can be yours furever!! Story
Ralphie was rescued from a kill shelter in New York City. He was dropped off at Animal Care Centers of NY on Nov 24, 2023. Happy Go Lucky Mastiff Rescue (located in Maryland) sponsored a foster in Albany, NY to get him out of the shelter in early December. The foster caregiver had to relocate, so I picked Ralphie up in Albany, NY on May 1, 2024 and brought him to Ohio. Ralphie is microchipped, but his name was not available, so we used his shelter ID (RAL188002) and after referring to him as Ral so often, I suggested we just call him Ralphie. Ralphie was neutered in April before I picked him up and he received all shots required in New York. He has all shots required for Ohio. Ralphie is reactive to other dogs and pulls very hard whenever he is on a leash. Ralphie may not be a good fit for households with young children because he is so energetic and often gets the zoomies. I am working with Ralphie to fix his behavior issues, and I think that he really can be a good boy!

Story
I Rescued Ralphie in May 2024. He was originally dropped off at a shelter in New York City in Nov 2024 at age 1 year. He was fostered in Albany, NY from December 2024 until I adopted him. He was a good natured but extremely high energy adolescent dog when I got him. He was taking anti anxiety meds to control his strong reactivity to other dogs as well as to keep him calm in the home. I discontinued the meds when I got him home to Ohio and used CBD oil and hemp treats to manage his behavior issues. He has puppy energy in the house and has chewed up anything he can get his paws on when not being watched. At first, Ralphie was impossible to handle on a leash because he pulled so hard. I tried a no-pull harness for a while, but there was not much improvement. After I began using a prong collar on our walks, Ralphie became much easier to manage on walks except for reactivity issues with dogs. We walk between a mile and a mile and a half each time and he gets better with each outing.
