Name: Dolce Age: 11 months Breed: Doberman XCurrent size:60 lbs Size potential: max 65Leash trained:not yet Crate Trained:yesPotty trained yes Kids:not sure Other animals: dog friendly - no cats Energy level:medium House or apartment:house Story/backgrounds: she was left in the backyard with her sister in November when her owner got arrested. Family tried to feed them but didn’t really have the money to properly care for them. I saw a post before the freeze in January and I rescued them. When they were dropped off to me I asked when they ate last and they responded with 3 days ago. I knew right then I made the right choice rescuing them! She is so kind and loving. She just wants to be near her person. Ideal home/family lifestyle:a family that wants to shower a dog with lots of love, pets and some adventures. Dolce has not had the luxury of learning to go for a ride or walk as she was just a tossed in the backyard and left. She would do best with a family that is patient to teach her that the car and leash can be such fun things! She has a lot of love to give and just wants to be with people. ##2303590##

Story
Meet Imani! Imani is a 1 1/2-year-old Doberman-Rottweiler mix with a heart full of potential and love to give. Rescued from a local shelter's euthanasia list nearly a year ago, Imani has blossomed into a lively, affectionate, and active pup who enjoys exploring her boundaries. With clear and consistent communication, she learns quickly and thrives on structure. While Imani can be initially nervous or scared in new places or around unfamiliar noises, she gains confidence with an experienced handler who is willing to invest in her training. With the right guidance, she becomes more confident and will reward you with unwavering trust and respect in your partnership. Imani would do best in a home with another stable dog to show her the ropes and no cats. She isn't the biggest fan of small children but could acclimate to living with older kids if the adults in the home are committed to working with her and advocating for everyone's safety and comfort. If you have the experience, patience, and dedication to help Imani continue her journey, she will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion. Story
Nacho and his two brothers Poncho and Rico are looking for a forever home. Each pup needs to be placed where the person is familiar with the breed and committed to the life of their pet(s).   These babies are three months old. Their owner surrendered them after he was in a position that he was unable to care for their well-being. He purchased their parents from other countries and had them shipped into the United States. They are registered, but the puppies will not be registered. They will be neutered.  Each puppy has been given all their core vaccines and seen by a licensed veterinarian.   They have been around small children and other pets. Each boy is playful and loving. Nacho is the alpha out of the 3 boys. They are all the same size.   Currently they are in Arkansas, but transportation is available. The adoption fee is $850 and that does cover the cost of transport as well. The person who had them prior to coming into the program had small children, and they did great around the kids. ##2315609##

Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
Meet Wednesday – The Tiny, Elegant, and Slightly Mysterious Lady! If you've been looking for a graceful, long-legged supermodel (but, you know, in dog form), then Wednesday is your girl! This 5-year-old Min Pin/Italian Greyhound mix weighs just 9.5 pounds, but trust us, most of that is legs—she’s basically a four-legged ballerina. 🌸 Delicate & Sweet: Wednesday is gentle, timid, and borderline fragile, so she’s looking for a home that understands her dainty princess energy. She’s great with other dogs, likely fine with cats, and does well with gentle kiddos who won’t mistake her for a squeaky toy. Wednesday is very wily and wiggly! 💧 Hydration Queen: Wednesday takes daily eye drops for her Diabetes Insipidus. It's a compounded medication that costs about $100/month. As a result of her condition, she drinks a LOT of water and, well… pees often. Think of her as your adorable little hydration reminder—she’s staying hydrated, are you? Just give her access to water and potty breaks. 👑 Quiet, Calm, and Classy: She’s not here for chaos—no barking marathons or zoomie sprints. Wednesday prefers a peaceful, cozy home where she can nap in soft blankets and keep her elegant presence known. If you’re looking for a tiny, sweet, and ridiculously charming companion, Wednesday is waiting to class up your home! Apply today and prepare to fall in love with this long-legged lady of leisure! If you are interested in finding out more about Wednesday, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Wednesday is being fostered in Shrewsbury, MA. The adoption fee is $400. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet Lexi – your new favorite little weirdo 🐾💕 This 2-year-old, 25-pound Miniature Pinscher mix is a certified goofball with Oscar-worthy vocal range. Seriously. Lexi moans, groans, and grumbles when you give her side rubs. It’s like living with a pint-sized diva who just wants you to keep scratching and never stop. 🎭 She’s friendly, fun, and rode like a total pro in her foster mom’s car—no complaints, just good vibes and curiosity. She’s also eating great, doing really well on leash, and loves cuddles at night. Lexi is house-trained, quiet in the home, and generally unbothered by other dogs—even the foster dog who tried to crash her bone party (rude). She did let out a little growl, but it was more “excuse me, this is my snack” than “call security.” She hasn’t been to the dog park yet (just spayed on the 8th so no roughhousing allowed), but she’s got plenty of energy to unleash in the yard and lots of curiosity for the world 🐕✨ If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate little oddball who wants nothing more than your attention, your love, and maybe your couch—Lexi’s your girl. Adopt her and get a dog with personality, pizzazz, and a soundboard of emotions. 🎤💃 Let’s get Lexi into her forever home before she releases a full album of side-rub groans. If you are interested in finding out more about Lexi, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Lexi is being fostered in Arlington, MA. Story
**Meet Pablo! Your Affectionate Playful Pint-Sized Companion!** Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Say hello to Pablo, a 4-year-old, 13-pound bundle of sweetness who is ready to find his forever home! This charming Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher/Terrier mix (your guess is as good as ours!) came to us in late January from Worcester Animal Control. Now fully vetted and ready for adoption, Pablo is looking for a family to love him as much as he will love them! Pablo is all about companionship! A true lap dog con snuggle bunny con tug of war specialist! He adores being close to his humans and has a cuddly, fun-loving disposition. He is also a social pup who gets along well with other dogs, though he can get a little jealous at times. Respectful older kids would likely be a good match, but he might need some time and patience to warm up to younger children. As for cats, we are not quite sure, as he can get a little territorial. This athletic and playful little guy would thrive in a home with a secure yard and a high fence—he is got the agility to make the most of it! He is also working hard on his potty training and is doing great so far, but continued reinforcement will help him master it. Pablo is crate-trained too. He may whine a little at first but settles in quickly like the good boy he is. I in yould love to be in your lap when he is not eating, playing or exporing. With his soulful gentle brown eyes, great health, and a playful streak (he loves to gnaw on his leash like a champ!), Pablo is the total package. All he needs is a loving active family willing to give him the attention, training, and care he deserves. He promises to be a loving loyal and affectionate companion! If you are looking for a cuddly, playful and affectionate little dog to brighten your life, Pablo could be your perfect match. Are you ready to give this handsome dude the forever home he has been waiting for? If you are interested in finding out more about Pablo, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Pablo is being fostered in Boston.
