Story
Marlie is 4 yrs old, super sweet, eager to please, great with people. She is crate trained, rides well in the car, walks well on a leash & is potty trained. Marlie is on the high energy side, needs regular exercise & mental stimulation. Although she is beautiful, she is the product of very poor breeding & has had two knee surgeries so exercise doesn’t need to be intense but should be facilitated multiple times a day, such as running in the yard or playing with another dog or swimming. She will do best in a home with consistent routines & a fenced yard where she can run. She is good with male dogs but no cats. Marlie struggles with anxious energy & reactivity to unknown dogs when they are near so training and regular “calm time” help. She is a typical loyal velcro Doberman who craves being near her owner & will be a great go-everywhere dog with continued training & consistency.

Loki is a sweet, happy, smart 2 yr old boy who loves spending time with his humans. He requires daily exercise and the right home with continued training & encouragement and he will be a wonderful companion. With continued help on his socialization he will be able to improve his over-excitement when encountering other dogs/people. He is still immature & does not realize his size & acts like a big puppy. He needs a very experienced owner with large and/or working breeds who understands the need for consistent, ongoing training. He can be a great hiking companion, running partner & just all-around best friend to the right family or individual. He loves to run with his person! He just needs the opportunity to show his goofy & loveable nature & you will be hooked. He rides in the car well, is crate trained and knows basic commands. He still needs time to mature & that is going to make all the difference for this guy. He has incredible potential but only in the right hands. He is specifically available to homes where someone is home at least part-time, as an only dog, OR to a home with female dogs of similar size & to homes with children over 8 years old. He has previously lived with children (7-14 yr old & done well.) His original family had some life changes & could no longer make the necessary commitments to keep Loki. Bo is a very sweet, happy senior guy in need of a loving retirement home. He is good with female dogs over 25 lbs. He is crate trained, rides well but needs help getting in & out of the car. He is potty trained and enjoys short walks. He is a great dog even though he has had a rough & neglectful life. His previous owner left him outside full-time & then recently dumped him in a shelter & due to age & condition, he quickly ended up on the euthanasia list. He needs and deserves someone to spoil him for his senior years. He would also do great as an only dog. Kids must be over 8 yrs old. NO cats. We adopt to all areas of Texas and parts of OK, AR, LA. Nezuko is 18 mo old, likely a herding breed mix- prob a lot of German Shepherd in there. She is very friendly, silly and a fun girl. Sadly, she was rescued from a neglectful owner. She is crate trained, loves other dogs. She is shy initially with new people but warms up quickly. She enjoys car rides & is also potty trained indoors. She is high energy & needs a fenced yard and plenty of time for play & exercise. No cats, and kids over 5 yrs old. She is fully vetted & ready for her new family & forever best friend. She is located in the DFW area but eligible for adoption outside of DFW within a reasonable distance. She is not a part of our program, this is strictly as courtesy listing. Zeb is 2.5 yrs old & a very sweet, beautiful boy! Unfortunately, his owner made the decision to bring him home as a baby puppy without discussing with her family & it did not go well, so almost immediately he went to live with the girl's aunt next door. She had him for 2 yrs & loved him very much but does not have a fenced yard or the time to spend with him, so he spends most of his time alone, crated in the hot garage. Despite all of this, he is happy, sweet boy who loves people! He is good with other dogs & cats too! He has been great with kids over 7 yrs old too. He is potty trained & rides well in the car. He loves people & plays well with the cat & dog in his foster home. He is also crate trained. He is a great boy, ready for his new best friend and forever family! Pixie has been with one owner all 7 Years of her life, my fiance who passed away a couple of months ago. She is high energy and loves to run and cut up. We are now in an RV and she has no where to run and I work all the time. She is lonely. She would be good with an active young adult or family with older children. (Because of her energy level) She definitely needs a yard or pasture to roam. She has been raised around an elder dog, that passed several months ago, and lived with a cat for 5 years. No issues there. She is all bark and no bite. Very much loves cuddles. She weighs about 30 pounds and has no problem at the groomers either. She only has her rabies vaccine. She tap dances around a lot when she is excited. It's actually quite funny to watch. She does not have accidents in the house either. She's a good girl.
