Story
💕 Meet Babygirl “Babe”! 💕 Chiweenie • 1.5 years old • 13 lbs If you’re looking for a little shadow who believes personal space is highly overrated, Babe is your girl! 🥰 This sweet Chiweenie is as loving as they come and would happily spend her day cuddled up next to her person, preferably with plenty of bodily contact at all times. And if you happen to look her way? Prepare yourself. Babe will often flop right onto her back and proudly present her belly for rubs. 😂💗 She knows exactly what she wants! Babe is dog-door trained and potty trained, although she prefers that her humans come outside with her. Most of the time, she wants her person along for the adventure. She is good with dogs of all sizes and cats, and she especially enjoys having a dog closer to her own size to play with. She is also good with respectful children. Babe is crate trained, although she has a little something to say when she hears you coming home. Consider it her very own welcome-home concert. 🎶😂 She loves the finer things in life, especially a soft couch and a good pillow. She is food motivated without being pushy, which makes her a fun little girl to work with. Leash walking is still a work in progress, so her new family will need to continue working with her on that. A fenced yard is required. Babe is sweet, affectionate, playful, and happiest when she is close to her people. If your idea of the perfect dog involves a little companion who wants to be glued to your side and regularly demands belly rubs, Babe may be your girl! 💕🐾 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network. If that happens, don’t worry—we’re always happy to help you find another great match. if that happens! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!)

Story
🐾 Meet Atlas! 💦 Meet Atlas, a 9-month-old Labradoodle weighing in at 55 pounds—and he is ALL puppy! This silly boy is happy, playful, curious, and convinced that life is basically one giant adventure. And honestly? He may be onto something. 😂 Atlas has the cutest silly face and the sweetest dark eyes, and his personality is just as adorable. He loves everyone and everything, including other dogs, cats, and kids. He would absolutely love having another dog in the home to romp around with, or a family with a semi-active lifestyle who wants a four-legged sidekick for their adventures. 💦 Water is his love language. Sprinkler? YES. Hose? YES. Pool? ABSOLUTELY YES. Whether he's splashing around or actually swimming, Atlas is happiest when water is involved. He also LOVES toys, LOVES food, and is always ready to have a good time. Basically, if you're doing something fun, Atlas would like to know why he wasn't invited. Despite being a puppy, Atlas has some great manners already. He is fully potty trained and dog-door trained. He does well on leash, although he has a little puppy pulling to work on. He crates well and is quiet once he's settled. He may need a little treat-based encouragement to go in, and he might whine for about a minute—but then he's good to go. And what about that Labradoodle coat? Atlas doesn't have the super-high-maintenance doodle coat you might be expecting. He can be groomed and trimmed, but we don't anticipate him needing the frequent grooming that some doodles require. We also don't know with 100% certainty whether he sheds, but if he does, it appears to be minimal—not Lab-level shedding. Atlas is basically a 55-pound puppy with a heart full of sunshine, a love of water, a serious appreciation for snacks, and a whole lot of life to live. If you're looking for a happy, playful dog who can keep up with your adventures and then crash beside you afterward, Atlas might be your guy. ❤️🐾 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network. Story
💙 MEET FOXY! 💙 The blue-eyed Chiweenie who will stare right into your soul… 👀😂 Foxy is a 1-year-old, 14 lb Chiweenie with the most mesmerizing blue eyes you’ve ever seen. Sometimes she’ll just sit there in the dark while you’re watching TV, staring right into your soul. 😂👀 But don't let that creepy little stare fool you—this girl is FUN! Foxy ADORES children, loves other dogs, and is a very playful girl. She would do best with another dog already in the home to keep her company and play with her. 🏡 A few things about Foxy: • 1 year old & 14 lbs • Mesmerizing blue eyes 💙 • ADORES children • Loves other dogs • Another playful dog in the home preferred • Dog-door trained & potty trained • Loves to run circles around the yard • Fenced yard required • Not a fan of the leash and needs more work with it • Prefers women in the home • Loves toys AND food 😂 • Crates quietly • Not barky • Does the cutest little hops when she runs 🐇 • Likes her people but isn't overly demanding for attention • Her favorite place might just be the back of the couch Foxy is playful, quirky, independent, and just plain fun. She'll happily play with her dog friends, run crazy circles in the yard, then climb onto the back of the couch to supervise the household. And occasionally… she'll stare right into your soul. 👀😂 If you're looking for a fun little Chiweenie with blue eyes, personality for days, and a built-in entertainment system, Foxy might be your girl! 💙🐾 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network. Story
🐾 Meet Anika! 🐾 Anika is a 3½-year-old terrier mix of the “who knows what?” variety. 😂 She has a little head, a slightly bigger frame, and 26 lbs of pure easygoing sweetness—with a few pounds to lose that we’re working on. Anika is potty trained and dog-door trained, friendly with dogs and cats, and absolutely loves children. She walks on a leash, although she’d much rather be doing her own thing, so a leash is definitely a must at first while she settles in and learns her new surroundings. Her favorite pastimes? Sunbathing and being a couch potato. ☀️🛋️ Honestly, if Anika had a dream job, she’d be professionally lounging. She’s food motivated, easygoing, and an all-around easy keeper. She doesn’t ask for much—just a comfy place to land, someone to love her, and a forever home where she can soak up the sun and enjoy the good life. Anika is ready to stop waiting and start living her happily ever after. ❤️ Could you be the forever home she’s been waiting for? A big thank you to Teresa Edwards Photography for donating your time and talent to photograph our adoptable dogs!
