If long, beautiful legs, the cutest little turned-up snout, and the most ridiculously adorable expressive ears are your thing, you’re about to fall head over heels for Cricket! 😍 This petite black-and-white beauty is a one-year-old Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix who is equal parts precious, delicate, and absolutely irresistible!
But Cricket’s story is about so much more than her good looks. ❤️
Cricket was found on the streets, desperately trying to escape large dogs chasing her. When she first came into rescue, she was absolutely terrified, pregnant, and sick. It was heartbreaking to see just how much this little girl had endured. It was clear that life on the streets was all she had ever known.
After several months in a loving foster home, Cricket has had the time, patience, and care she needed to heal both physically and emotionally. She’s discovered that cozy beds are pretty wonderful, regular meals are something she can count on, and indoor life isn’t so scary after all! 🏡✨
And guess what? She’s doing WONDERFULLY!
Cricket is learning all the finer things in life about being a cherished family dog, and every day she’s growing more confident. She’s doing great with her potty training, walks nicely on a leash, and does well in her crate. She’s a smart little girl who is making beautiful progress and is ready to take the next steps with a family of her own.
