Story
Hank is ready for his forever home. This boy is a real charmer. He is a typical puppy - curious about the world, loves adventures, and exploring. Hank enjoys playing with other dogs, finding the best stick in the pile, and spending time outside. Once play time is over, Hank is ready to find his favorite person so he can snuggle up in their lap. He loves all people and other dogs. He'd do well in a home with cats, too. Hank is crate trained and nearly house trained. He's doing great with his leash walking and basic commands, too. As with every dog, Hank will need to continue his socialization and training in his forever home. Hank is a 4 month old Lab mix who currently weighs 24lbs. He's up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and monthly preventatives. To adopt, submit an application at www.because4paws.org

Story
weight 16 lbs age: 15 weeks as of 6/22/2024 adoption donation $699         Chandler and Monica were found on their own in a rural part of Mississippi but fortunately Wags stepped in to take the pair in. They are both friendly and mellow puppies  who will make a wonderful family dogs. Chandler looks like he has pointer in him, He’s adorable, white speckled legs! There may be some Chihuahua or something that is keeping him on the small side, he will likely be a smallish medium size dog when full ground.      Chandler is such a sweetheart! He loves everyone he meets, his tail wags when he sees New people and he absolutely loves to play with other dogs. Chandleris very cuddly and doing great with house training.     Chandler has had his  puppy shots, is microchipped, will be neutered in the northeast when he  is older, Wags will pay for her spay at one of the clinics we use or reimburse what we pay if an adopter decides to use their own vet.      Like any puppy Chandler  needs someone who will be around for him  and give him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be. Story
adoption donation $550 weight: 26 lbs Age: four months as 6/26     Dolly is just the sweetest! She is a calm and very chill puppy. She settled in quickly in her foster home in the northeast, she’s super affectionate with her foster mom and likes her foster dad and the other dogs in the house. Her tail never stop wagging! She loves toys and bones and is doing great housebreaking.   Dolly’s mom is a medium size lab and dad is a mix, also not a big dog. She and her siblings were given to Wags of Monroe County outside of Tupelo Mississippi to help find them loving homes.      Dolly has had her vaccinations but will be spayed in the northeast. Wags has clinics that we use and we will pay for the procedure or if adopters want to use their own vet the rescue will reimburse what we pay.       Like  any puppy, Dolly needs a family dedicated to giving her the training and structure she needs to help her grow to be the very good girl we know she can be.  Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter.   For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  July 7, 2024, 6:25 am

Story
Seasoned Husky lovers will swoon over Dallas’ good looks. He is one of the most beautiful dogs we've had in some time. He has the full, thick and lush Husky double coat, and his coloring is icy white. He has big blue eyes seem to twinkle with impending impish mischief.  Dallas arrived at our Connecticut rescue recently after he spent some time in a rural North Carolina Shelter. Animal Control Officers found Dallas as a country stray, and were impressed at how friendly and easy to handle he was. Dallas made many shelter friends who advocated tirelessly for him. Two years old, Dalla is a well adjusted adult Husky, who has impressed everyone with his good looks and relaxed demeanor. We love our Northern Breeds, and we're thrilled to welcome Dallas. He is a typical Husky, part jokester and part athlete. Anyone interested in sharing their home with a Husky must bring their A game to the table. Dallas needs a savvy handler to maintain his equilibrium. Exercise and discipline, as well as ongoing obedience training should be part of his life, as well as lots of action and human contact.  Dallas is not the kind of dog who will be happy relegated to the back yard. He loves attention and adventure. We would describe Dallas as having a neutral temperament. He has a vibrant personality that would compliment the vibe of a calm, but assertive individual, who can take command of the leash and provide the leadership and focused obedience training that will give him purpose and pleasure in life. Dallas has adapted well to foster care and he would do well in the adult home of an experienced Northern Breed enthusiast, who has the time to make him a priority, and has the active lifestyle to keep him engaged. He is coming along nicely on his Canine Good Citizenship training, and has the potential to reach certification. Dallas has good house manners, and he is housetrained and crate trained, although adopters should expect some accidents as he transitions to a new life. He is in great health, and has been neutered and fully treated for Heartworm. He has received routine vaccinations and health screenings, If you are interested in Dallas, please call/text Denise at 860-908- 9738 or email angelsfrmgod@aol.com.
