Story
Hello, wonderful future family! My name is Snow, and I'm a gorgeous 2-year-old Great Pyrenees with a pristine white coat. I weigh 80 pounds, and I came to the shelter on 06/29/2024 with my brother Captain. While it's optional to adopt both of us, we would be absolutely thrilled to continue our journey together. I'm not spayed yet, but I will be upon adoption, and all my shots are up to date. Captain and I were found lost with IDs but sadly were not claimed. We both have some wounds on our noses from digging out of a fence, but we're both sweet and loving dogs. I'm the calmer one of the duo, and we both know how to sit on command. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal, and beautiful companion, look no further. And if you have room in your heart and home for two, Captain and I would be over the moon to stay together. Come meet me at cage #849, and my ID is 659939. I can't wait to find a forever home filled with love and happiness! With hopeful paws and wagging tails, Snow 🐾 Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Panda is a very active, playful and affectionate pup looking for his forever home. He’s neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He loves being outside, even on hot days. He’s great at playing catch and enjoys walks. He’s very intelligent and listens but can be a little stubborn at times. He’s trained to use an electric fence, crate trained and leash trained. He’s still an happy and energetic puppy.  Panda was living in a home with another pup but they did not get along very well which led to a few fights. He was never the instigator in the situations and not an aggressive dog at all, but he would not hold back during the fights. So, it would be best for him to a find a forever home where he is the main center of attention or perhaps with another older pup that won’t bother him much. This is a very hard decision for his family but they want to do what is best for both dogs.  If interested in meeting handsome Panda, please fillout our application at www.SoCoRescue.com ***He is located in Flemington, NJ** His story…..In January of this year, a man found a box of 12 puppies that had been discarded in the mobile home park where he lived. He and his wife took the pups to their home and gave the two month old pups the best care that they could. The pups were overloaded with worms, parasites and fleas, which left them without fur to keep themselves warm during the frigid January temperatures. Five of the young pups passed before we were able to take them in and a sixth passed shortly after coming to our rescue, but Panda and his five remaining siblings have all fully recovered from their ailments and are now healthy, happy and ready to find their new homeVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2024, 7:54 am

Story
Name: Java Breed: Unknown mixed breed, but aren’t those ears cute?!Sex/Age/Weight: Female/1-1.5 years old/40 lbs Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negativeHouse trained/Crate Trained: Yes/YesDogs/Cats/Children: Java is great around children and would do best with high energy hooman friends. She can be dog and cat tested upon request. Energy Level: She’s still young and full of energy. She’d make a great running buddy! Before FAR/My History: Not much is known as she came to us as a new mom. Her kids have found their furever homes, so now it’s mamas turn.Training Status/Commands I know: Java is house and crate trained. She knows sit, especially if it comes with a treat! Working on: We are working on the “kennel” and “down” command. Things I like: Hugs, hugs, and more hugs! Java is very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. She enjoys the outside and nature, so she’d make an amazing hiking buddy. She loves to play fetch, and guess what? She actually brings the ball back! She is a chewer, so please keep in mind of more heavy duty toys for her young teeth! Things I don’t like: It appears bigger dogs can be intimidating and she’s shy around some men.Things that make my humans happy: She’s protective and alert! Very smart and would be easy to train! Treat motivated!Ideal Family/Home: She would prefer gentle introductions with any large sized four legged friends. If you are interested in giving Java a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Scotty is a very handsome dapper dog! This 2.5 year old miniature schnauzer is smart, friendly and knows basic commands. He gets anxious and excited in new situations but soon relaxes. He’s great with dogs, no introductions to cats yet. Sadly for Scotty his life has lacked stability and consistency. Because he is very playful and energetic he will do best in a home with older children. We prefer adopters that have experience with his breed. He would love another playful dog in the home.  Scotty is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is heart worm negative.   ##2042838##

Story
Sandy is sweet, fun, energetic, and has all the fabulous yellow lab qualities.  She will play fetch with the kids all day. Loves to swim and go on hikes.  1st one to greet you with a wagging tail. This sweet girl is missing having her own person to love and follows her foster mom everywhere around the farm.   She will make a fabulous addition to the family. Currently Sandy is living with other dogs, cats, horses, and lots of children in a busy environment.  Hasn't had a potty accident yet and tries hard to be a good girl.  Sandy is approximately 17 months old (DOB estimated as 2/9/2023), current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever family! ##2099221##
