Story
‘NEW YEAR’S’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 38 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Toast!  My sibling and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control just before the new year, so we are the New Year’s themed pups!  We are both so happy to be starting 2025 as part of the Mostly Mutts family.  Now it’s time to meet new families of our own, so plan to visit me soon!  I’ve just gone into a foster home, so there should be more information about me soon.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I love my sibling and would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice dog that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts (age 10+) and liked them, so children that age or older in my new home may be nice.  I am a tad jumpy when I play, so best no toddlers or small children that I may bump over and – of course, let’s meet!                     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a super sweet and friendly pup who has a joyful and curious nature you are sure to love.  I spin and jump for joy when I see the volunteers coming to spend time with me.  I’m playful, affectionate, curious, confident and eager to learn. I am sure to bring lots of love to my new family! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ command and look forward to learning lots more. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog -  so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m super affectionate and love to receive hugs and lots of petting. The play yards at Mostly Mutts are great fun, so I’d love a fenced yard where we can have lots of outside play sessions together.  I enjoy my walks with the volunteers and am gentle and calm for a puppy, so let’s explore together. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    January 10, 2025, 7:55 am

READY TO FIND MY PEOPLE:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi, my name is Hadley!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control.  At the shelter, I am enjoying making friends with the volunteers who come to care for me.  I can’t wait to be in my new home, so come meet me soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old and a little younger at Mostly Mutts, and I should not live with children, as I got nervous and went after them when they ran around. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a sweet and friendly girl who just needs a little time to warm up to you so we can become great friends.  The volunteers knew how to go slower with me and then we become good friends, and my wonderful nature just shines through. They say that I am a smart girl and will likely pick up on your good vibes and become your best friend. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘come’ commands so far and I showed the photographer that I also know how to ‘shake’ during my photo session.   I look forward to learning lots more – including polishing my leash skills as the leash is new to me, so check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts – it just took a day or two to get used to it. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy people’s company once I get to know them a little and I think that toys are fun, too, so let’s have some great play sessions.  I’m looking forward to being your fun companion. / Other than the rambunctiousness of young children, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a great home with a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 10, 2025, 7:32 am

Story
A COLLECTOR OF CUDDLES:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name’s Meredith!  I came to Mostly Mutts – scared and shy – from animal control and boy, was I glad they were able to rescue me!  It didn’t take me long to show everyone that I’m a cuddle bug with a darling, yet a little shy, nature.  I just went into a foster home, so there should be even more information about me soon.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I did come in with a friend that I like walking with, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old and a little younger at Mostly Mutts and was very scared of them, so I think I would be better with older calm kids (age 15+) in my new home, please.    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I arrived at Mostly Mutts unsure and timid.  My new situation did not make sense to me.  So, the volunteers took it slow with me and – with their love and patience – I am enjoying their company and showing them that I’m a wonderful ‘little doll baby’ – cuddling with my bather and snuggling into the towel after my shelter bath.  Now, I even give hugs in appreciation for the attention that comes my way! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t think I know any commands yet, but I’m sure you can teach me some!  I am excellent at snuggling and being adorable – I think those are the best skills to have. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  My main mission? Cuddle, cuddle and cuddle some more!  I’m happiest when I am snuggling into my person!  I’m sure we can find lots of other things we’ll enjoy doing together too! / Other than being afraid of the kids I met and being rushed into a new situation, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I have mild tartar and staining on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I am looking for a loving home where I will get all the love every doggie deserves!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga. January 10, 2025, 7:32 am
