Story
Chance is a sweet dog. He is part herding dog so has some of the traits as such. He gets along with other animals and is not overly excited and doesn’t jump. It is reported that he does nip like a herding dog on occasion, especially with smaller children, so may do best in a home with older children or someone willing to work on this with him. Chance is already neutered and ready to go home.

Story
Missy was brought in to the shelter by animal control along with 2 siblings. Missy had been an outgoing pup but as time has gone on in the shelter she has become a bit more shy and withdrawn. If you interact with her a bit she starts to warm up and is a very loving girl. She needs a home soon so that she doesn't become a victim of shelter life. Puppies weren't meant to grow up in a shelter. She needs human contact and interaction. Please consider this sweet girl!

Vin Diesel

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Boxer

Male, 2 yrs 1 mo
Independence, KS
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Vin Diesel came to our shelter as a stray toward the end of last year and was not reclaimed. He was adopted in the early months of this year, but several months later was returned. His owner often left him outside within an enclosed yard. He started escaping his enclosure and running at large in the city limits. The last time he got out, he was running with another dog and they harassed someone's goats. Because of this we recommend no homes with livestock. After being cited by the city the owner surrendered Vin Diesel back to us. Our shelter was overcrowded without the addition on another dog. We need to find him a home quickly. He is the sweetest guy, gets along with other dogs and used to get along with cats but after running loose so often it is unknown if he still gets along with cats. Vin Diesel is current on all vaccinations, is neutered and has NO ADOPTION FEE!

Cowboy

Catahoula Leopard Dog Husky

Male, 2 yrs 4 mos
Dewey, OK
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We are sad to have to have to do this and it breaks my heart but we are needing to rehome Cowboy and Daisy. They will be 1 year old on February 27th. They are very intelligent and high energy dogs. They are potty trained and used to sleeping in separate crates at night. They are used to being inside/outside dogs (we have a doggy door). They would do best in a home with older kids and not young children. Since, they are catahoula husky they love to “talk”. Cowboy is especially vocal and will tell you he wants attention with a bark. They are spayed and neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
