Story
Levi is an incredibly handsome, 100ish lb, male Golden Retriever looking for a laid back home with no little kids or other dogs where he can just chill out and be his people. He is sadly being surrendered to GRRAND as his family is just doing what they feel is best for Levi. They say: "Levi is a high anxiety dog and has been since he was a puppy. The stress of having another high energy dog and a toddler has gotten to him and we feel he needs a home with much less chaos. Levi is a Scorpio—born 11/7/2020. He's a 3, going on 4 year old pure bred golden retriever with a goofy personality. He's a lazy noodle who likes selective attention, chewing on bones, car rides, walks, and showing off to company. He also loves squeaky balls! Levi has a bit of anxiety and needs the ability to be loved and cuddled when he seeks attention, but allowed his own space otherwise. He'd thrive in a home with no other dogs or young/little children so he can relax his nerves and anxiety to feel safe, and even though he doesn't act like it all the time now he was well trained and socialized as a pup! He sleeps in our room at night on the floor or on the bed. Levi is crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, gets along with other dogs. He is not food or toy aggressive. No bite or nipping history in spite of difficulties with toddler in the house. We want him to be happy".  A GRRAND volunteer just met Levi and he said "This boy is healthy, attractive, friendly, well cared for, and has had some training. My wife was with me when we met him, and Levi was very quick to engage with both of us, seemed friendly and comfortable with multiple strangers in the house. Levi is one of those dogs who makes me wonder if I have room for one more"!  If you would like to meet Levi, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org   ##2098412##

Story
Lady is a 7-8 year old, about 70ish lb, very pretty Golden Retriever looking for a forever family where she can live her best life and get all the love and affection she deserves. She used to be an inside dog, but was then sent to live outside due to a family member's allergies as they said she shedded too much, (Golden's DO shed!) and they felt she needed a home where she could get more attention and go back to being an inside dog again. We are happy to report she is now in a foster home and they say "Lady is a loving girl! She is house and crate trained, and we don’t have other pets so not certain about how she is in a house with other dogs, and we heard she used to live with a cat, but can't confirm. We have also been told she can be reactive to dogs if they get in her space, but she does do fine while walking with our neighbor dogs outside. Lady needs a yard to hang out and play in as she really enjoys ours, and she is a large golden so needs space to roam. She sleeps on my son’s bed at night". We are still learning about Lady, so check back for updates later, but if you would like to meet her, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2082732##
