I’m Baby Ruby! My brother, Baby Max, and I had a pretty rough start to life. We were dumped on the side of the road in Alabama and left to fend for ourselves. Thankfully, some wonderful people came along, and now we’re safe with K-9 Lifesavers! Now I’m on a very important mission: finding a loving forever home where I’ll never have to worry about being abandoned again.
I’m a super sweet little gal who gets along great with other dogs. I’m playful, lovable, and — if I do say so myself — pretty darn adorable. I’m also a little roly-poly, which just means there’s even more of me to love! I’m at the perfect age for training and socialization, so I’m ready to learn all about being the very best girl. All I need is someone to teach me, love me, and promise that this time, I’m home for good.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
