Meet Livvy!
Livvy is a beautiful 2 year old, 75-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart as golden as her coat! This sweet girl was surrendered to our rescue along with her litter of puppies, and now that her days of motherhood are behind her, she is ready to find a loving family of her own.
Livvy can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon reveals her affectionate, gentle personality. She has previously lived with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of families.
Livvy is house-trained and crate-trained, although she has such good house manners that confinement may not be necessary. She is accustomed to having a securely fenced yard where she can comfortably relieve herself and explore. Her leash manners could use some additional work, but with patience and consistent guidance, she should continue to improve. She also enjoys going for car rides and would be happy to accompany her family on new adventures.
After lovingly raising her puppies, Livvy’s greatest wish is to finally be someone’s cherished companion. She is looking for a family that will give her the security, patience, and unconditional love she deserves—and promise to love her furever!

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.
While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
