If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Chip! This resilient little sweetheart is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Chip had a rough start to life, but with time and patience, he’s blossoming into a loyal and loving companion. While he can be a bit wary of new people and may put on a brave face at first, once you’ve earned his trust, he’s all cuddles and tail wags. Chip is a playful pup who loves zooming around the yard with his furry foster siblings, gnawing on toys (and, occasionally, laundry baskets), and being close to his humans. He’s potty trained, knows how to “sit,” and is currently working on his leash skills. He sleeps well in his crate and can be left alone for a few hours without issue. Chip would thrive in a calm, cat-free home with another confident dog to show him the ropes. He’s still unsure about kids, so a household with adults or older, dog-savvy children would be ideal. Whether he’s racing around the yard or snuggled up for a nap, Chip is ready to bring love, laughter, and a touch of goofy charm to his forever home. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2368116##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zoey is a young pointer/chocolate labrador mix with an approximate birthdate of 11/9/2023. She has a very tender and affectionate temperament. Zoey, while needing continued training, is obedient, housetrained, good with children, other dogs and cats and a great retriever! She loves to run, but always stays close to her people. She has some separation anxiety and loves to cuddle and be near her people at all times. Her ideal home would be one where she's rarely left alone, has room to run in a large yard or property, but with no highway nearby, and is well loved by all in the home. Zoey tested positive for Lymes, which is a chronic tick borne health condition that can cause flare ups & may need to be treated with antibiotics over time. Many dogs with Lymes can live full live with no symptoms. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination:  Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.  We do not guarantee this determination. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! I’m Boone, a big, handsome, gentle giant with a heart just as large as my paws. Yes, I come with a bit of drool, but it's just part of my charm! I absolutely love human attention – whether it’s cuddles, belly rubs, or lounging in your lap (yes, I try despite my size!). I'm happiest when I'm close to my people, and I give the warmest, slobbery hugs around. I'm both kennel trained and potty trained, and I get along great with other dogs. I didn’t know much about cats before coming to my foster home, but I’m learning! Sometimes I get curious when they’re playing – I just want in on the fun, not to harm them. I’m working on my leash skills and getting better every day – especially when treats are involved (did I mention I’m treat-motivated?). I’ve got pretty good recall too – call my name and I’ll come running with love in my eyes and maybe a little drool on my lips. I do forget my size sometimes (I mean, who needs personal space when you’re made of love?), but my intentions are always pure. I just want to give you all the affection I have. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and cuddly companion, I might just be your guy. Let’s make each other’s lives better – one big Boone hug at a time.  Boone is from an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Summyr (with a Y)! I'm 3 months old and am learning or exploring something new every single day. My favorite thing to do is eat, so my foster mom makes sure to keep any food that's not for me out of my reach! I also love my foster fur-brother. He's been showing me the ropes on playing, using the doggy door, and going outside to go potty (although, I do still have an accident here and there when I'm too far from the door). At first my foster brother scared me, but we love to wrestle together now!  When I'm not wrestling with my foster brother, I like to nap (especially nearby my person). I don't have to be help, but if I can sit by you on the couch, that would be great! I can even sleep through the night! Sometimes, when I'm really excited to see my person, I'll walk in front of you and show you my cool spinny-trick where I spin around, and then if you pet me, I'll even give your arms a nice hug! Summyr is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 22, 2025, 9:35 am
