Story
Are you looking for a furry companion who loves to snuggle on the couch, is great with other pets, and is already house trained? Look no further than Gizmo, the 5-year-old mix breed canine who is sure to steal your heart!   Gizmo may be hesitant at first when meeting new people, but once he warms up to you, he is the most affectionate and loyal companion you could ask for. He loves nothing more than curling up next to you for a nap or showering you with kisses. Oh! And he's a sucker for treats!    If you have other dogs or cats in your home, Gizmo will fit right in. He gets along well with other animals and enjoys having furry friends to play with. His easy-going nature makes him a great addition to any multi-pet family.  One of the perks of adopting Gizmo is that he is already housetrained. Say goodbye to accidents on the carpet and endless hours of potty training. Gizmo is a well-behaved pup who knows his manners and is eager to please. --Not a Fan of Kids-- While Gizmo is a sweetheart with adults and other pets, he is not fond of children. If you have a child-free home or are looking for a companion specifically for adult interaction, Gizmo could be the perfect fit for you.   If you are in search of a loving, low-maintenance companion who is content to cuddle on the couch with you, Gizmo is the canine for you. With his affectionate nature, good behavior, and compatibility with other pets, he is sure to bring joy and companionship into your home.   For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.  You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.  We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents. Any of our adoptable animals can be transported unless otherwise noted in their profile. View all of our adopted animals at www.forpetssakerescue.org ##2098986##
