Story
Please contact Suzanne (ztasuzanne@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Take a look at this handsome boy! Max is a 2 year old orange roan 37 lb purebred male French Brittany. Max is neutered, heartworm negative and is UTD on his vaccines. He was surrendered by a French Brittany Breeder in Northeast Tennessee and is being fostered in the Memphis, Tn area. He is housetrained, crate trained and walks fairly well on a leash (his leash skills need some fine tuning). Max is eager to please but he is initially very timid and skittish. Once he warms up, he is a lovebug. He is more skittish of men than women. Max needs a patient home that understands he is cautious and slow to trust. He is startled easily by loud noises. Max is such a good boy, but in typical Brittany fashion has been caught counter surfing on occasion. Being only 2 years of age, Max still has lots of puppy tendencies like chewing. He is moderately active and sometimes prefers to be napping on the couch while his Brittany foster brother and sisters are outside pointing and chasing anything that flies. He has not been witnessed digging or trying to escape, but he sure can jump. Because of this, Max will need a 6 foot physical fence. Max is not a candidate for an invisible fence. Once Max trusts you, he will be your shadow and quickly becomes a lapdog! He is food motivated but not food aggressive. After watching him interact with his foster pack, his foster mom and dad feel he will need a doggie furbrother or fursister in his new home. It seems to make him more secure. Max will be a great pet for the right family. Max's adoption fee is $400. This adoption fee helps cover the costs of vaccines, medical incidentals and spay/neuter. Don't forget, NBRAN will transport adopted Brittanys up to 1400 miles with the adopter only being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles.
