Meet Frosty! This sweet and playful Biewer is looking for her forever home. Frosty is pee pad trained and still getting the hang of leash walking. She loves car rides and is the ultimate lap dog—happy to sit with you for as long as you’ll give her pets. Frosty is dog-friendly (unknown with cats) and would enjoy having a furry companion, but she’s just as content being your one and only. She’s quiet, independent, and does well being home alone, though she’ll happily follow you around the house when you’re there. Frosty is a bundle of love and sweetness, ready to bring joy to a lucky family!   https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/ ##2270445##

Story
This sweet 6-year-old Biewer Terrier is a pint-sized bundle of love, weighing in at just 8 lbs. Garth is the ultimate cuddle buddy and will happily spend hours snuggled up with you.   Garth gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and would do best in a home with smaller dogs and older kids. His gentle and easygoing nature makes him a great fit for anyone looking for a loving, adaptable companion. He walks well on leash and is very close to being potty trained but does love his schedule to go outside. He loves playing with toys by himself or with his person.    Smart and eager to please, Garth is a quick learner who thrives on praise and—most importantly—treats (just make sure that they don’t contain chicken!).    If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful new best friend, Garth might be your perfect match.   https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/ ##2272988##

Story
We cannot get Kenough of sweet Kensley! Meet Kensley, a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever mix rescued from Edgefield, South Carolina. Kensley is 3 months old and currently weighs 21 pounds. Kensley’s stunning black coat of fur is highlighted by the most precious white patch on her chest, and her rich brown eyes seem almost endless. Kensley is a gorgeous girl ready for a beautiful life, and she will be ready to join her forever home on January 17! Kensley is still learning about the world around her and is full of puppy curiosity. Life has changed a lot for her in a few short months, so she can be a bit shy with new people and changes. She warms up quickly, though, and once she’s found her favorite humans, she becomes quite affectionate with them. Kensley is a lovebug around those she’s close with, both human and doggy alike. She loves playtime, especially with her sister, and has fun burning off her energy with some yard runs and leash training. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but she’s improving each day. Kensley would do well in any sized home as an only pet or with other dogs and cats. She’d be a great companion for kids of any age and is truly ready to embrace any family who will have her. Kensley hopes you’ll consider coming to meet her soon—she will be waiting for you! Kensley is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. We can’t help fallin’ for sweet little Collins! Meet Collins, a dashing Black Labrador Retriever mix with the most perfect white toes. Collins is 3 months old and currently weighs 22 pounds of puppy perfection. She was rescued from Edgefield, South Carolina with her sister, and she is ready to embrace a happy life with his forever family. Could that be you? Come find out when he’s officially ready for adoption on January 17! Collins is such a gentle little soul who adores the affection and love of others. She’s cuddly and likes to be doted on. We certainly don’t mind giving her all the extra snuggles and telling her often what a sweetheart she is. Collins is still learning and can be a bit shy at times, but she loves playtime with her sister and opens up around others. She is working hard on his confidence and leash training, making improvements each day with the patience and encouragement of her trusted human friends. Collins is going to be an amazing companion to anyone lucky enough to adopt her. Collins would love a home with other dogs, cats, or kids who can pal around with her and teach her all about life and having fun. Story
Baby Boy is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near Albany, New York. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Baby Boy is a possible Catahoula/Cur Mix and is around 6 months old (December 28th) and weighs 38 pounds. He, 3 other puppies, and a Mama dog were dumped on a bridge outside of Tishomingo. Baby Boy is like every other puppy, energetic, funny, friendly, and loves belly rubs! He has been in foster and has learned leash and crate training. He is not housebroken, but we are sure he can learn quickly. Video of Baby Boy: https://youtube.com/shorts/CtT-Hdt5Kn4?feature=share Baby Boy is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, a negative heartworm test, on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $550, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. Story
Hunter is an incredible German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) who has been a beloved part of our family since she was just a puppy. She’s a true sweetheart who thrives on attention and companionship, making her the perfect addition to an active and loving home. Hunter is crate-trained, well-behaved, and has a passion for upland hunting—her instincts and energy make her a joy to watch in the field. Beyond her skills, she’s a deeply affectionate dog who will quickly become your best friend. Our family is heartbroken to part with Hunter, but we are committed to finding her the loving home she deserves. Ideally, we’d love to see her rehomed with her best buddy, our other GSP, Major. They are inseparable and would thrive together in a home that values their companionship and playful bond.
