Story
Howdy folks, I’m an easygoing good-natured big ol’ Boxer mix named Bongo. I’m young, about 1 year old and I weigh 54 lbs. Like many dogs in San Antonio Texas, I was pushed out of a car onto the side of a busy highway in 100-degree weather. I was completely terrified, confused, and thirsty, lying down in the emergency lane when a lady pulled up beside me, opened her door and I got up and jumped in. That nice lady is now my foster mom, so she is helping me get ready to find a forever home. I now have all my vaccines, neutered a few weeks ago, and in between I am having some fun, meeting new people, had my pictures taken, and I'm playing with all the other dogs who live here. Turns out I’m a pussycat, sweet and gentle, almost motherly with a litter of puppies who live here. My foster mom says I’m a lover, not a fighter and I enjoy snuggling beside her when we relax on the couch watching TV. I make friends with everyone easily, dogs and humans and even a kitty cat who lives here. I know some commands like Sit, Stay, Lay Down, and I love doggy toys. I am very well-behaved, only bark to alert, and I taught myself how to use the doggy door by watching the other dogs. I’m fully housebroken and at night when the doggy door is closed I know how to use a potty pad if I need to go. I walk very nicely on a leash and I don't mind a ride in the car. I’m amazing and ever so grateful to be safe and sound and loved. My future looks bright and I am totally looking forward to meeting the lucky East Coast family who gets to adopt me and make me their forever dog! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
weight 16 lbs age: 15 weeks as of 6/22/2024 adoption donation $699         Chandler and Monica were found on their own in a rural part of Mississippi but fortunately Wags stepped in to take the pair in. They are both friendly and mellow puppies  who will make a wonderful family dogs. Chandler looks like he has pointer in him, He’s adorable, white speckled legs! There may be some Chihuahua or something that is keeping him on the small side, he will likely be a smallish medium size dog when full ground.      Chandler is such a sweetheart! He loves everyone he meets, his tail wags when he sees New people and he absolutely loves to play with other dogs. Chandleris very cuddly and doing great with house training.     Chandler has had his  puppy shots, is microchipped, will be neutered in the northeast when he  is older, Wags will pay for her spay at one of the clinics we use or reimburse what we pay if an adopter decides to use their own vet.      Like any puppy Chandler  needs someone who will be around for him  and give him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be. Story
adoption donation $550 weight: 26 lbs Age: four months as 6/26     Dolly is just the sweetest! She is a calm and very chill puppy. She settled in quickly in her foster home in the northeast, she’s super affectionate with her foster mom and likes her foster dad and the other dogs in the house. Her tail never stop wagging! She loves toys and bones and is doing great housebreaking.   Dolly’s mom is a medium size lab and dad is a mix, also not a big dog. She and her siblings were given to Wags of Monroe County outside of Tupelo Mississippi to help find them loving homes.      Dolly has had her vaccinations but will be spayed in the northeast. Wags has clinics that we use and we will pay for the procedure or if adopters want to use their own vet the rescue will reimburse what we pay.       Like  any puppy, Dolly needs a family dedicated to giving her the training and structure she needs to help her grow to be the very good girl we know she can be.  Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter.   For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  July 7, 2024, 6:25 am
