Story
Egeon is a handsome tan and white pup with a sweet personality and a heart full of love to give. His favorite thing in the world is spending one-on-one time with his people, and he's always eager to make them happy. Whether he's soaking up attention or simply hanging out by your side, Egeon is happiest when he's with his family. This lovable boy sleeps quietly through the night, does well in his crate, and will let you know when it's time to head outside. He's still polishing his leash skills and can be a bit enthusiastic on walks, but with consistency and patience, he's sure to keep improving. Egeon gets along great with other dogs, both big and small, making him a wonderful canine companion. He would do best in a home without cats. When playtime rolls around, Egeon has one mission: find the squeaker! He absolutely loves plush toys and takes great pride in "de-squeaking" them, so a steady supply of toys will help keep him entertained. With his affectionate nature, desire to please, and playful spirit, Egeon is ready to find a family that will give him the love and attention he thrives on. In return, he'll reward you with plenty of loyalty, companionship, and smiles.

Story
Meet Gracie! Gracie is a beautiful black long-haired Dachshund/Chihuahua/Poodle (likely!) mix with the sweetest soul you'll ever meet. Gracie is approximately 9 years old & arrived to us when her owner was unable to continue to care for her. She's the kind of dog who is happiest simply being with her people, whether that's curled up beside you on the couch or snuggled in bed at night—one of her favorite places to sleep! This easygoing girl has settled into foster care beautifully and gets along with every dog she's met, from gentle Great Danes to tiny 7-pound dachshunds. She has wonderful manners, uses the doggie door like a champ, and has been thriving since her dental procedure. She's eating great, feeling wonderful, and her happy personality shines brighter every day. As Gracie has grown more comfortable, she's discovered her playful side—and even found her voice! She loves running the fence line with the neighbor dogs and will happily bark along when she's excited. It's been so much fun watching her confidence bloom. Gracie would make an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. She has the gentle temperament to excel as a therapy dog or simply be the perfect cuddle buddy for someone who wants a constant, loving companion. While she loves relaxing with her people, she's still active enough to enjoy daily walks and adventures. She truly is the best of both worlds—calm, affectionate, and content to snuggle, yet happy to join in the fun when it's time to play. Gracie would thrive in just about any loving home where she'll be cherished as part of the family. Gracie is fully vetting & fostered in the Greensboro area. To apply for Gracie: https://www.doxiebyproxy.org/application If you've been searching for a sweet, devoted companion with a heart as beautiful as her flowing black coat, Gracie is ready to meet you. She can't wait to find the forever family she's been dreaming of. ##2800418##
