He gets along well with other dogs and cats, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. However, a home without young children is essential for his comfort. Story
Meet Patches, a 1.5 yr old dachshund/mini Aussie The most loyal girl who will choose her human every single time. Where you are, she is. I truly cannot say enough good things about this girl. She’s shy, expressive, cuddly, loving, loyal, and absolutely deserves the very best family. Patches is slow to warm up and can be extremely standoffish with men, but with patience and love, she always seems to give them a chance. She’s comfortable with them when they’re down on her level, but can be hesitant when they’re up and walking around. She just needs someone willing to give her the time she deserves. She is amazing with other dogs. She reads their cues beautifully, and a confident, playful dog in her forever home would be such a bonus. I truly think another dog could help her build confidence and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Patches finds so much comfort and safety in her crate, is completely potty trained, and genuinely doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is just a soft, sensitive girl looking for someone who will be patient with her, love her through her nervous moments, and let her become the confident girl I know she can be.   Being fostered in Tulsa, Oklahoma! ##2814089##

Story
Tiny body. BIG personality. Lambert Jackson is the tiniest little merle baby with enough sparkle packed into his little body to light up an entire room. This sweet boy was found lost and wandering before some kind humans scooped him up, and we were lucky enough to bring him into the FFR family. Now that he’s safe, Lambert is BUSY discovering just how fun this whole puppy thing can be. He is vibrant, curious, playful, and completely obsessed with learning about the world around him. Toys? Yes. Adventures? Absolutely. Learning new things? Sign this tiny scholar up. Being ridiculously adorable while doing all of the above? Unfortunately, he cannot turn it off. Lambert is ready for a family who wants to teach him all the good-dog things, play until his little legs are tired, and then remind him just how loved a tiny lost boy can become. Small package. Speckled perfection. Whole lotta puppy. That’s Lambert Jackson.
