Meet Bateau! • Age: 7 months • Sex: Neutered male • Breed: Terrier mix • Colour: Brown & white • Weight: 8 kg • Shoulder height: 38 cm Rescued from a municipal shelter in October before he was scheduled for euthanasia, Bateau is a friendly young pup ready for a family of his own. WITH PEOPLE Bateau loves making friends! He happily approaches familiar faces and strangers alike, rubbing against them for affection and welcoming gentle pets. He can be picked up and held, and he may even roll over for belly rubs when meeting someone new. WITH OTHER DOGS Bateau eagerly greets other dogs and invites them to play. He does well with larger dogs and enjoys playing with dogs his size or smaller, but his enthusiasm can be a little much for quieter companions. He sometimes keeps approaching even when another dog wants space, so he needs help learning to respect their signals. If another dog challenges him, he may respond and continue following and barking afterward. He may also growl if another dog approaches while he is being held. Thoughtful introductions and guidance around play and shared attention will be important. WITH CATS His response to cats has not yet been observed. A cat test can be arranged. ENERGY & PLAY Bateau has a moderate energy level and enjoys outdoor activities before settling down to rest. Being a puppy, though, he recharges quickly! Regular playtime and opportunities to learn will help keep him happy. ON WALKS He enjoys sniffing and exploring in quiet areas. Passing cars, people, and motorcycles can still make him hesitate; he may stop until they pass or move closer to his handler for reassurance. Once the scary moment is over, a little cheerful running together helps him relax and carry on. AT HOME • No food guarding toward people or other dogs has been observed. • Separation anxiety has not been confirmed, but he does bark when confined. • He may bark initially in a kennel. • Getting into a car is still scary for him, so he currently needs to be lifted in. • He uses indoor pee pads and toilets outdoors in the exercise yard. Toileting during walks is still a work in progress. Bateau is looking for a loving family who will enjoy his affectionate nature and help him build confidence, practise polite play, and learn the everyday skills of growing up. Meet Kkamsun, a gentle, affectionate girl who is ready to trade years on a tether for a home filled with love. Name: Kkamsun Age: 5 years Sex: Female, spayed Breed: Terrier mix Colour: Black & White Weight: 12 kg Height: 35 cm at the shoulder Rescue Story Kkamsun spent several years living tied up. In late November 2025, her owner was moving and could no longer keep the dogs, and Kkamsun was rescued. At rescue, her left front leg was noticeably bowed. A veterinary examination determined that she needed corrective surgery to improve its alignment. She underwent surgery to help distribute weight more evenly through the leg, improve walking comfort, and reduce strain on her joints. Today, she enjoys walks, manages stairs, and can hop into a car on her own. With People Kkamsun loves people and happily approaches familiar faces and strangers alike. She leans against people for affection and is quick to roll over for belly rubs—even with someone she has just met! She is comfortable being handled and picked up. With Other Dogs Kkamsun generally prefers doing her own thing, though she has a soft spot for younger dogs. She is usually friendly with dogs her size or smaller, but very energetic dogs can feel overwhelming to her. If another dog provokes her, she tends to walk away. With Cats On walks, Kkamsun watches cats with curiosity but follows along when her handler guides her away. She has not yet had a formal cat test, but one can be arranged. Energy & Walks Kkamsun has a low energy level and loves relaxing, but she is always happy to head out for a walk—especially when there is grass to explore! She may pull or get a little excited at the beginning, then settles with guidance. Birds occasionally catch her attention, but she responds when called and does not continue chasing. After enjoying her outdoor time, she is content to rest at home. Life at Home • Comfortable and quiet in a kennel. • Has shown no separation anxiety in her current setting and can spend about eight hours alone. • Toilets outdoors and uses indoor pee pads reliably, with 100% accuracy in her current setting. • Generally quiet, with occasional barking at unfamiliar outdoor sounds or to welcome her people home. • Does not usually guard meals from people or dogs, though she may growl at another dog over a particularly tasty treat. Special treats are best enjoyed separately. Kkamsun offers a lovely balance: an affectionate walking companion outdoors and a calm, easygoing presence at home. Because of the heavy traffic, some of this litter died by car accident. The rest of them were placed by the public shelter of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) program. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. However, we could not bear to see the rest of this litter going back to the shelter and suffering on the streets. We agreed to place them at a foster home and give them a chance in life. Annie is now in our foster home and gets a lot of love and good care. Even other dogs like her a lot. She is a cutie pie. She has been doing well, and is also very amusing.Annie is ready to find her forever home.She likes running, hiking and rolling on the lawn.She loves outdoor activities. She also loves dog treats !! Every day we feed her kibble with wet food, egg, or cook meat and some fruits. Because she was confined to a cage during her youth, she lacked any basic survival skills when she was heartlessly abandoned on the streets. Tragically, she was hit by a car, resulting in a severe comminuted fracture in her front right leg. By the time we rescued her, the injury was too severe to save the limb. With heavy hearts, we had to make the difficult decision to amputate her leg in order to save her life. Despite the immense suffering and the loss of her leg, Kristen remains incredibly sweet, quiet, and gentle, always looking at everyone with eyes full of trust. She is remarkably friendly and gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and every person she meets. She may have lost a leg, but she is surrounded by the deep love and care of her foster family and rescue volunteers. Kristen is now taking one step at a time toward her happy new life on three legs. Even though we can't run, it's perfectly okay to walk slowly. To ensure her long-term well-being, her future adoptive family must strictly manage her balanced nutrition and control her weight. Meet Harley - a calm companion with a playful streak and a bedtime song! Harley is an approximately 2-year-old, 70 pound male northern mix from Moose Factory who brings a lovely balance of easygoing company and occasional zoomies. At home, he's happy stretching out on the floor, but when his canine buddy is ready to play, he loves a good game of chase around the yard. This friendly boy enjoys men and women alike. He can be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up to people and is fast to welcome other pets. He gets along well with other dogs and has been friendly with other animals, though squirrels sometimes catch his attention! Thankfully, he's easily redirected. Harley has not yet been tested with children. Harley has some wonderful everyday manners: he's house trained, walks beautifully on leash without pulling, and handles passing bikes and skateboards well. Thunder doesn't seem to bother him, either. He sometimes jumps up when excited and is working on keeping all four paws on the ground. A great eater, Harley willingly heads into his crate for meals and treats. He takes treats gently, even with another dog nearby, and his foster has seen no resource guarding. Like many opportunistic snack enthusiasts, he'll occasionally investigate food left on the counter, so keeping tempting goodies out of reach is wise! Harley is largely crate trained and sleeps in his crate in the family room. His bedtime routine includes a 10-15-minute husky-style serenade before he settles, with an occasional overnight whimper and a morning wake-up call around 7. Outside those musical moments, excessive barking hasn't been a concern. He has managed short periods alone uncrated, but his creative side means freedom is best introduced gradually as he learns his new home's routines. Looking for a relaxed walking buddy, a playful canine friend, and a little northern personality? Harley could be your perfect match.
