Story
Our family rescued Max about a month ago. He was obviously lost, ran away, maybe let out by previous owners. He was very skinny, dusty dirty, hungry and thirsty from being out alone in the desert heat. He knew he needed help because he came right up to us seemingly looking for someone to notice him. Had we or others not helped him, there is no doubt he would have not made it. Max is extremely smart. He catches on very quickly and responds to voice tone. He is very playful and loves the attention of people. He gets along great with my two Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd dogs. They play together very well. Max watched us play ball with my other two dogs and he quickly taught himself to play as well. He will go get the ball when thrown and bring it back. Max is timid to be inside, but he has gotten used to coming inside periodically. There has been no issues with him inside as long as he has room to move around. Max is 40 lbs, and approximately 1.5 years old.
