American Pit Bull Terrier

Female, Puppy
Slaton, TX
Size

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Our vet thinks this little girl is 16 weeks old. She weighs 22 pounds, and is part but not pure pit bull. We have been fostering her for a little while, but our elderly chihuahua does not like to be around her (either because of her energy or size). She is very sweet and loves to be around people. We live in the country, and when we let her outside, she stays close to the house (she does not run off). She gets along well with our other dog and the neighbors dogs. She just got her rabies shot last Saturday. She is free to a good home and we will provide her current bag of food, and some toys.

Story
Ivy is a rescue, roughly 11 months old. She is a sweet girl that needs lots of attention, love and kindness. She had a rough start to life, so car rides and loud noises scare her. She takes a second to warm up to people, but once she does, she is a cuddle bug. She is a little on the high energy side so she likes to run in open spaces. She’s pretty good on a leash, but she is harness trained not collar. She will come with her XL crate, food bowl, her blankie and favorite ball. She really just needs someone to give her the world for her to live her best life.

Story
Duke is around 6 years old. He ran around the street where my grandmothers house is and we all thought the family who lived in the house across the street had adopted him, the kids played with him all day and he was even let in and slept in the house. The family had ended up moving away and left him to die. Duke has abandonment issues and has a hard time trusting people. He had started getting better and warming up to people faster than ever, although in the summer of 2023 we had a pool built and the men who were building it threw rocks at him which traumatized him all over again. No one in my immediate family would ever say he’s an aggressive dog, but he has bitten a few people in the past. He is the sweetest dog once he warms up to you but because of where we live and how many people come to our house we just can’t keep him anymore. Duke needs a strong owner that has experience with his type and someone to work with him to get him out of his shell.
