We adopted Ruby in 2018 as an 8-week-old puppy. She is a pure-bred German Shepherd; she is up to date with all her shots and is spayed. Ruby is a beautiful, sweet dog with a lot of energy and love to give. She is great with kids and loves to play. We have no other pets, so Ruby spends a lot of time alone. We would love to find her a loving home where she gets a lot of attention.

Story
Mudd (Muddy Buddy) came from the bed of a truck at an abandoned gas station at six weeks old. I got him the day I moved into my new place and that’s where he spent most of his puppy life. He is my best friend! Mudd is 10 months old and is 70+ pounds. Muddy Buddy has the sweetest heart, kindest eyes, & is a huge cuddle bug. He absolutely loves other dogs! He doesn’t know his size and plays too rough for cats or small dogs, so ideally a new home without either is best. He loves to be outside, loves walks, and loves to run and play fetch and chase. He also loves water and mud. The reason I am rehoming him is the neighbors have chickens, and he keeps trying to get into the chicken coop, and the last thing I want is for him to be put down. Mudd is familiar with most basic obedience commands, but is still young and definitely needs a home that is going to work with him and ensure that he is properly fully trained. I just want the best life possible for Mudd in a loving home!

Story
Edith came from an abusive home before she was in the shelter. I adopted her from the shelter, but recently took a job where I work 14 hour days and I’m in an apartment, so I can’t keep her outside. She’s incredibly sweet and tolerant. She rarely barks and never growls. I encourage you to meet her if you are looking for a lazy best friend. Please consider letting her join your family.

Jack Russell Terrier Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)

Female, Young
Beaumont, TX
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We took in Ruth in October '24 after she'd been fostered for a number of weeks by some friends. She had been living on the streets of Houston for who knows how long. We were hoping she'd be a good companion to our senior-aged terrier, but as she's gotten settled in she hasn't been getting any friendlier toward him and we feel it's becoming a detriment to the last years of his life. Around 1 year old. She's very confident, smart, and all the other words they use to describe a typical JRT. We're not sure if she's full-blooded but if she were we wouldn't be surprised, she has every single trait. Loves to chase squirrels or anything that catches her interest. She's ok on a leash, has some frustrated greeting issues. She's crate-trained, but still working on her house-breaking. She's not great with smaller dogs or cats, sees them as prey we think. She'll need someone who's experienced with the breed or who has a lot of space/time or a fenced in yard for her to safely chase squirrels.

Abbie is a sweetheart that loves to cuddle. She doing very well going outside to do her business, crate/kennel time, and sit and leave it commands. She doesnt like harsh tones and thinks she is in trouble if you say Abigail. She wags her tail a lot. She is not aggressive with her food or toys. She is very curious about her surroundings. She loves looking out the window. Abbie is around 3 years young. Her vet records say PitX, but we believe her to be more on the Foxhound/Boxer mix side. Abbie is UTS on all her shots, housebroken, HW neg and microchipped. She LOVES people, but we recommend that she be an only dog. She does very well on leash walking and loves to go on walks.Abbie is a big girl around 60 lbs. If you would like to meet Abbie please let us know!!
