Story

Pie is a very lovable dog. My grandson got Pie when he was a year or two old. He is now about 7 years old. He loves to have his head scratched and being in the cooler house when it is hot outside. He is solid white Siberian Husky (very rare) with one blue eye and one brown. His coat is very thick; he must be brushed in the summer to remove the top coat since we live in Okla with hot summers. He was raised with 2 small dogs and misses them very much since they are gone. He minds very well if you use a stern voice and gets very excited to get his treat in the evening. My husband passed away and I can’t care for him myself as I am 71yo.

Story

Daisy was found as a stray and adopted. She is a great dog - friendly disposition and is a real sweetheart. She would love a home where she can be outside a lot and is able to run around (she does like to run so it would need to be a secured area or a lot of land). She is great with kids and babies and other animals both dogs and cats. The only reason she is up for adoption is because I have had some changes in my life that make it so she is alone almost all day. She does have separation anxiety and needs to be crated when left in the house alone. She is currently left outside in a secure yard with shade and water during the day and in a crate when inside alone and at night for bed. I do think she would do well with a family that was around the home more and maybe another dog to play with. We believe she is 2-3 years old and is playful at times but is definitely out of the puppy stage and will lay around content the majority of the time. She likes toys and bones and likes to dig.

I am a little scared of new people and will need someone who understands and will let me learn to trust you. Once I trust you, I will be your best friend. I am such a great girl at the Puperosa and Momma Kimber would have me in a heartbeat if I liked cats. We have built a bond which she absolutely loves me so much. We have built a trust. I like to go say "hi" to all the dogs at the kennels and even give Tequila Rose kisses through the kennel gate. I get so excited and just wag my butt in excitement. Hi, I am Tomoe Gozen!! I have been waiting so patiently for a forever home. I am super sweet and loving. I am one smart cookie and figure things out quickly. I don't know if you remember the story of the Warrior babies with Zena, our mom?? We were owner surrendered to the city where my mom, Zena, had bite marks on her ears and neck. There was no food or water for her in the yard. You could see everyone of her ribs and her spine!! My momma was giving everything she had for us seven puppies. We were three weeks old at that time. The city asked ELR to please take all of us and they arranged for all of us to get out and start working on getting momma healthy. In our foster home, we had a huge yard to play in and even a pond. I love water!! They think I might be part heeler and labrador. I was the first one of the puppies to climb the puppy enclosure and jump off the deck. I was an adventurer then and I still am. I was adopted with my sister, Artemisia, to a wonderful family. They came on some hard times and recently brought us back to ELR. They did love us and message ELR everyday to check on us. We are back at our old foster home and it is familiar to us again. I am know how to jump onto the deck from the ground now. I am a medium sized dog with lots of love to give a family. I am good with cats and dogs. I do like to sit in your lap and give lots of kisses. ##1336500##
