Story
Are you looking for low-key, laid-back, low-maintenance, easy-peasy, sweet as pie, with just the right measure of spunk? Then RILEY is your girl! At 11 years old, some would say RILEY is entering her golden years. She does enjoy keeping things chill with window watching, lounging and long naps. But she is also up for leisurely walks and still has that spark of excitement when her peeps come home! She’s not interested in the game of fetch but does enjoy a yummy chew bone every now and then will toss toys around the yard when she’s excited. There’s lots of tread left on her tires, or maybe we should say a lot of pad left on her paws, and RILEY would absolutely love a forever home. RILEY is a large, long, tall girl whose nose can rest on the dining room table with no stretch at all. Her nose works overtime during mealtimes, but she does not steal food from the dinner plates. Riley would gladly accept if offered, though! A bit of a heavyweight right now at 95 pounds, RILEY obviously hasn’t missed any meals. We are actively working toward her ideal weight of 80-82 pounds. RILEY is super calm, without a mean bone in her body, and truly just loves to be wherever her people are. She’s great with other dogs and respects their social cues. She’s discovered orthopedic beds are comfy and doesn’t even mind if they aren’t quite her size. She prefers to be indoor rather than outdoor most days. She is truly easy to care for and even easier to love. She’s such a sweetheart! And she could be yours!
