Story
Are you looking for a sweet little spring bud to add sunshine to your life? Look no further than Astrid! Don’t confuse this playful tri-pawd for a trillium, Astrid is blossoming into her new mobilities and is surprisingly agile!  Astrid wants nothing more than to be with her people and her other four legged friends. She is a dog’s dog and does her best to entice play out of anyone she can! A nice snuggle after play is a well deserved reward. As is basking in the sun or short walks (with the final destination being the couch, duh!). This sweet and mellow girl is more concerned with lounging than having an action-packed weekend. However, she will gladly ride shotgun on any adventure- she’s just happy to be by your side! And did we mention she’s smart? This girl is up for learning anything if treats are involved! Astrid is about 7 years old and weighs 52 pounds. She is a pit bull type dog who would do well in a home with other dogs and people who want companionship and snuggles. Astrid is a low energy pup who is new to being on three legs, but that doesn’t stop her from playtime with new friends! If you’re looking for an adorable little bud to follow you around, Astrid says “Pick me!” Astrid’s adoption fee is $450 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.  Fill out an adoption application for Astrid at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application See more photos of Astrid on her Facebook album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.799854032184286&type=3 ##1944527##

Story
Meet Juniper! Juniper and her siblings came to us with their mom Iris. Iris is a sweet Boston Terrier mix and all of her pups look like they have some Chihuahua in them too. These babies are tiny! They are 7 weeks old (as of June 5) and only weigh one pound. They will probably grow to about 6-7 lbs when full grown, so they will always remain very small.  The pups are all well socialized and are great with other dogs and cats. They are in good health and have received their first puppy vaccination.  We would like to see these pups in homes with children over 10. The pups are very tiny and fragile and can easily be injured. We prefer a home with x-small breed experience.  Small puppies, just like larger dogs, need training and socialization in order to grow up to become good canine citizens. We often see training being neglected for small dogs, and this can lead to major behavior issues when they are adults. We ask our adopters to commit to gentle training methods.  The pups are on a vaccination schedule and are de-wormed. They are too young to be spayed or neutered. We prefer to do this between 8-12 months of age and the cost of this in covered by their adoption fee.  Their adoption fee is $525July 7, 2024, 12:08 am

Story
This darling baby girl is now 12wks old and she’s ready for her own forever home. She is a very friendly, social puppy so a socially active home would be ideal. She weighs approx 12lbs or so, and should be about 20lbs or so when full grown. Typical of the husky breed, she is a very active puppy and is always up for an adventure. A fenced yard would be best. She is a very smart little girl that learns quickly whatever it is you’re trying to teach her, so continued training games are a must. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes so another playmate in the home would be great, but it’s not required. She gets along with kitties, too. Because of her young age and activity level, kids must be over 10yrs old. A dog experienced home is required.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Ash from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 3 year old male Standard Poodle.  I weigh approximately 37 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,995 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
