FOREVER HOME NEEDED Cosmo, a 1.5-year-old, 9 lb chihuahua is just a sweetheart of a dog! After being rescued from a hoarding situation in California, this shy little guy has blossomed in his foster home—and his sweet, playful personality is shining through. Here's what his foster family loves about Cosmo! • He is super loving and devoted; He'll always want to be around you. • Cosmo is not a super high energy dog. He makes it easy to work from home - he'll just snooze next to you in a dog bed under a blanket. • He gets along great with his two foster dog siblings; he likes cuddling with his senior foster sister, and he loves playing chase with his young foster brother. • He rides quietly and safely in the car. He’s still a little unsure about getting into the car, but he’s learning that trips to the coffee drive-thru mean treats! • Cosmo does fine when left home alone and will often curl up in his foster family's bed. • He’s easy to walk and isn't overly reactive to other dogs that he sees. However, he doesn't love loud cars going by, so it's best if he lives somewhere quieter, outside the busy city. • He would much rather sleep in his family's bed rather than a crate. • He's got the best side-eye this side of the Cascades! • He's got a playful personality that comes out when he's feeling really comfortable - he'll flop across you and try to give you kisses. Because he's still quite young, he can be a bit nibbly, so he would do best in a home without small children. • It looks like he's got freckles on his nose which is possibly the cutest thing to see on a dog • Come meet this adorable, freckle-faced sweetheart with the amazing side-eye! Cosmo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Delilah is a shy and adorable border collie mix that came to Murci's Mission from a local family overwhelmed with intact dogs and puppies. In the process of getting everyone set up for spay neuter, we were able to welcome Delilah into MM for the purpose of adoption. She has a known birthdate of 08/16/2024. Delilah is somewhat behind on social milestones, but she's still determined to thrive, quickly making friends and sorting out new situations without too much strife. She is crate trained and leash trained, and she's well on her way to being house trained. Delilah would make a great addition to any family with room in the home and heart for a young active dog. She needs to be held accountable to continue to grow socially and is a very poor candidate for coddling which could produce a more fearful adult dog. Give her a chance to be a dog and let her absolutely thrive! Delilah is being fostered in Western WA, but is still eligible for adoption anywhere in PNW and beyond. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, and sample of the food she's been eating, and her medical records.
