Courtesy Post: Please contact NJ Smith 501-672-1176 if you are interested in Georgia. Georgia and she's 6 months old and she a Dogo/Lab mix. She already weights 42 lbs so we're guessing she's going to be a big girl. Georgia will need someone who understands the breed and training. She knows several commands: sit, lie down, back up, off, leave it and has been easy to train because she's extremely intelligent. She is very person oriented and wants to be with people, she's a velcro dog. She was dumped and nearly dead when she was found and has been enjoying her new life.

Georgia was dumped as a baby and barely made it. She’s a fighter! She is extremely intelligent and loving. She is very people-oriented, so she wants to be a part of the family and is very eager to please, which is great for training. I can transfer her microchip to whoever adopts her. She also knows several commands: sit, lie down, leave it, off, down, back up. She rides in the car well, but is still getting used to the leash. She loves my dogs, but can be a little resource aggressive with treats. She chases the cats, but has never hurt them. She definitely has a high prey drive. She would be an excellent only dog, but could live just fine with other medium to large dogs. She’s quite athletic and LOVES water and mud! She will be an excellent companion for the experienced owner.

Dennis the menace was a pretty cute kid. Therefore I am cute too! I am an adult, with puppy-like exuberance for life and food! I arrived at the rescue with my wife (Dee Dee) and our kid (Donna) after being left in our backyard when our "family" moved. Can you imagine? I gave them 3 years of devotion, and they just leave me like an old newspaper..... So, enough about my sorted past, let's look at my BRIGHT FUTURE!!! I am a handsome guy, full of love for life. I love female dogs, male dogs are more challenging because I am an alpha sort of dog, with the females I am fine- even dominant females like my Dee Dee. I am a good 60lbs, I'm such a big boy who makes for great cuddles! I am a good protector of your home and my people. I won't let those pesky neighbors over, unless you invite them ;) I have lots of fun running and playing and I would be a great outdoor adventure buddy! Let's get on the trails and go! Dennis can only be adopted in the local area. Local adoption fee is $200.
