07/03/24 12:42 impoundment/intake/vaccines: good boy. calm and did not react to other dogs.08/09/24 15:51 Temp tested with a large Shep. Both did well, no aggression seen. Strong boy who pulls a little but showed no interest in the dogs he walked by. Sniffed at other dog and let the other dog sniff him then both walked away, came back again, sniffed some more and walked away. Sweet boy, he`s silly and playful but gentle. Easy to leash but pulls when walking. shows no interest in the other dogs. Will sit, takes treats genteelly but does not catch them if tossed in the air. Nice boy, a true gentle giant.

Sweet Pea needs a foster or foster to adopt in So Cal ASAP. She’s a 1 1/2 year old Dogo Argentino mix. She is very sweet dog. She does seem to be deaf or at least have selective hearing. She does need some time to adjust in a new home, but she loves people and seems non reactive with other dogs and cats. She can escape a fenced yard, so she will need to be kept inside unless you're outside with her. She's pretty good in a crate and we can provide one for a foster to use. She still needs to be spayed. That is included in her adoption. She loves the car and is pretty good on leash. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $400 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Mando is a good boy who needs consistent exercise and stimulation. Mando is 3yrs old. Incredibly sweet and cuddly and loves his humans. He plays fetch and will promptly accept belly rubs as reward for returning with the ball. Mando has been professionally obedience trained and does incredibly well on his e-collar and prong collar. He's great on walks and knows commands like "heel", "down" and "stay" and many more. He is leery with strangers and will need slow introductions to all humans and other pets. If he is not properly exercised regularly he can become anxious and will start to challenge you as alpha by not listening or picking on other dogs in your home. Mando needs a large breed experienced adopter or someone who can work with him to help build his confidence and exercise him daily.
