This handsome boy has come a long way from a difficult past and deserves a home where he can truly thrive. Zeus is protective and deeply devoted to his person. He does best in a calm environment with someone experienced in his breed and training techniques. He has not been around children, so a home without young kids may be ideal. While he can be wary of strangers, he is incredibly affectionate with those he trusts. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and showing early signs of hip dysplasia. He would benefit from a home where he can get proper care, patience, and structure. If you have experience with large, protective breeds and are looking for a loyal companion, Zeus may be the perfect fit. Located in Charleston, SC area. Carrie is approx. 2 years old and 40 pounds. Kelly came from a rural NC shelter when she was just 3 months old. She has now been in rescue for almost 2 years. She is still very skittish and Leary of people. Therefore, she will need a very patient adopter. Carrie is also available to be fostered. Carrie is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Please keep in mind that our dogs are shelter dogs. We have little if any information about their prior history. We can only tell you what we have witnessed since coming in to the rescue. Please be patient and prepared to train / retrain your new family member. Our pets need time to decompress once they are in a new home. if you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please google it. It will help you understand what your new rescue dog is going through. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE CAN NOT TELL YOU IF ANY OF OUR PUPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH CATS. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please email us and tell us a little about your family and home and what you are looking for in a new family member. This will help us determine if the pet you are interested in, is the right for your family. We are located in Hollywood/Charleston, SC. Anyone looking for a smush face, unicorn? Layla , the boxer mix, is good with big dogs, little dogs, cats and kids. She loves balls and toys and is an all around great dog. Riding in the car seems to stress her some. But honestly if you are looking for the perfect dog Layla is your girl. OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET. REMEMBER, THEY MUST HAVE TIME TO DECOMPRESS. Have you ever seen a boxer with a tail!? We haven’t either until we rescued sweet Ike. He was found as a stray and all proper steps were taken to find his owners and no one came forward. Ike is your typical happy go lucky Boxer. He is a big goof ball. He seems to get along great with all the dogs big and small. We don’t have cats so unsure on that. He loves playing with toys and is getting pretty darn good a fetch. We think Ike is around a year old or less and 45 pounds. Ike is vaccinated, chipped, neutered, and ready for his “Furever” home. If you think you are ready for a “super rare” boxer with a tail please reach out to Laura at madpawpatrol@gmail.com for adoption information and the fee. He is located in Hollywood SC but transport can help be arranged at the adopters expense.
