Hades is a very vocal and laid-back cat. He loves to be petted and also enjoys basking in the sunlight every chance he gets. He would do best in a home where he is the only cat!

Story
Fluffy is one of 6 cats who joined us due to unexpectedly losing their loving furmommy. Starz, Fluffy, Samir, and Wu have been together for years, but Macho and Tangie are our two newcomers, community cats picked up off the street in one of the last acts of kindness their mom would gift to the vulnerable in her community. In the midst of caring for their sister in the ICU and grieving her inevitable and looming passing, these cats' fur mama's siblings made the time to come to our facility in hopes of finding placement for them. With a limited amount of time to do so, we were thankfully able to move some animals around and open up enough spots for these cats to stick together in this time of transition. Her siblings thanked us for helping them to honor her memory and even sent us some information about the cats' late mother. They wanted people to know that through her work writing articles for the newspaper as well as in her personal time, her priority was always awareness for those who are vulnerable and less fortunate. Their hope, and ours as well, is to adopt these cats out in pairs out of respect for their situation and the family they lost that loved them so much. Our "old lady" of the group, Fluffy also has the (uncertain honor) of being the largest! This longhaired lady is a gorgeous tabby with rich shades of brown in her coat. She was more than likely the first and longest stay with her mom, and having grown up in a 1-human household is having a difficult time adjusting to having multiple caregivers and visitors. Although she is frightened and prefers to stay holed up in a corner of her condo, Fluffy is never mean or vengeful, quietly accepting pets from people she doesn't know or trust. Fluffy is closest with Wu, Starz, and Samir.

Story
When we first met Dax, he was a microscopically tiny 6 week old kitten with an already plush coat and otherworldly eyes. Understandably, he was adopted as soon as he became available. However, he just arrived back to FFAA due to his owners moving and not wanting to take him with them. We are confused as to why since not only has he grown up to be beautiful, he's also very calm even in new environments, shockingly affectionate, and overall pleasant to hang out with. He loves the huge dog bed he's pictured laying on, and even though he's not quite one year old, he's got maturity beyond his years. We're hoping his future family will appreciate the wonderful gift they'll receive in this pretty boy's personality and good vibes.
