Story
Meet Panini! This young sweetheart exudes an aura of curiosity, always ready to explore the wonders of the world around him with wide, inquisitive eyes. His playful antics are a delight, inviting laughter and companionship into any home lucky enough to adopt him. Playful Panini eagerly awaits a loving family to share his boundless affection and endless cuddles with. Let him fill your days with warmth and love! He would likely be fine in a home with children and other animals with proper, slow introductions and make a great companion. Panini came to the SPCA from a rural property with an enormous amount of cats & kittens (300+). Because of this rough start to his life, he has been exposed to various parasites and viruses that can affect cats. He has undergone treatments for all the parasites, been vaccinated, and is now healthy. However, because of his exposure to feline upper respiratory viruses and other things, there is a small possibility of him now being a carrier and because of this he needs to be an indoor cat and either be the only feline in his home or with a cat who has had the same exposure (there are lots of cats from the same property looking for homes) and up to date on vaccinations. Ask SPCA staff for more information regarding his history. An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.Do you think you could be Panini's person? Here are some ways to find out:1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or2. Submit an online application https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Story
Meet Ghost, a shy but endearing cat who's looking for a loving forever home. Ghost is a quiet soul who takes his time warming up to new people. Though he may be a bit reserved at first, his affectionate side shines through once he feels safe and secure. Ghost enjoys lounging in cozy corners and watching the world go by, and he has a special fondness for gentle pats and soothing voices. If you're patient and understanding, Ghost will reward you with a deep, quiet bond and the sweet companionship of a cat who truly appreciates the warmth of a loving home. He may be hard of hearing and would be best as an indoor only cat. He previously lived in a quiet, senior home so isn't used to living with young kids and other pets. He may be able to get used to other animals with proper, slow introductions. **Ghost is currently awaiting dental surgery an is not available to be officially adopted just yet but local adopters may have the option of doing a foster to adopt. Could you be the one to help this delicate beauty come out of his shell and blossom?
