Story
Jeter: ~7.5 year old neutered male, $150 Jete was named after the baseball player because his polydactyl paws make him look he has has baseball mitts for feet! He was surrendered recently due to scratching the human kids in the house. Unfortunately rehoming the kids wasn't an option and his family knew he'd be happier in a quiet home with no kids. He is a very sweet and loving cat, but like most cats, he will be shy at first with new people. He loves to curl up on a lap, loves treats (ham included!), and likes to be around adults that he knows. He loves to be petted, but not picked up. Jeter coexisted with another cat and dog in his previous home, but was not friends with them. We think he would prefer to be an only-pet or might be OK with a chill housemate who keeps to themselves. He loves lasers and will play with them for hours! Jeter is used to both wet and dry food daily. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet him in Loveland! ##2334819##

Story
Lunch Lady: ~10 year old spayed female, $150 This queen was found living outside in a bad neighborhood in Utah. She has a funny short tail and an adorable personality to match. She is very friendly with all dogs, but no cats please! She is tolerant of grooming (clipping mats, brushing) which is important to keep up with for a long haired kitty. She’s a really sweet cat who just wants to nap in the sun and only needs a small space to be happy. Apply at cokittycoalition.com to meet her in Fort Collins! ##2300595##

Story
Hello there, I'm Eloise. I'm a bit shy, so bear with me. My life on the streets taught me to be mellow and gentle. I've learned to appreciate the quiet moments, the soft touches, the kind words. I can take some time to warm up, but once I feel comfortable I like to play, and I have a voice that I use to communicate! A soft purr to show my contentment, a meow to express my needs. I was a stray once, but I've learned to love the comforts of a home. I'm ready to share my gentle spirit with someone who understands. Adopt me and let's create a peaceful world together!

Story
Meet this beauty named Rue! Rue does have a bit of a queenly attitude—she prefers admiration from a respectful distance rather than hands-on affection. Cuddles? Not really her thing. Belly rubs? Definitely not on her agenda. She can get overstimulated easily, so she needs a patient and understanding pet parent who recognizes her signals and gives her space when she asks for it. Rue would do best in a home without young children, as too much handling can make her uncomfortable. Rue would possibly also be perfectly happy as the sole queen of her castle. If you’re someone who appreciates a cat with strong boundaries and a personality all her own, Rue is ready to meet you. Could you be the calm to her storm?

Story
Theo will be three years old in May. Unfortunately, I need to find him a new home because I’m moving in with my significant other, who is allergic to cats. He can be a bit cautious with new people at first—when he met the first person who responded to my ad, he was spicier than expected! But with patience and time, he warms up. Theo gets along well with my large dog and one of the two neighbor dogs (the other is young and still learning boundaries, but they do pretty well together). He’s also great with the neighbors’ cat. For the first two years, he was indoor-only, but this past year he’s been indoor/outdoor—and he’s an excellent mouser! Theo will come with his climbing pole, beds, litter boxes, feeder, bowls, and plenty of toys. Even with his long hair, he’s on the smaller side for a cat. He’s neutered and doesn’t require any medication. There’s a small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a loving, responsible home.

Honey was found as a stray February last year. She had frost bite and had just healed from all of it, she lost part of her tail to the frost bite. Honey is a very sweet and cuddly cat who like to just lounge about most of the time. She likes to lay on her person to nap, and to groom her person's hair. She can be a bit rambunctious and gets plenty of zoomies.

Story
Will you give Sprout a warm home? Sprout is 3 years old. He's good with other cats. Not sure on dogs. We have gained his trust and he has learned how to meow and act sweet, rubbing against you, accepting pets, especially for wet food! It is the key to his heart. Being touched is very much on his terms. Usually around meal time. If you touch him while he's unsure or not in the mood he will give a nasty strike. Sprout's ideal home is with no kids and an owner who lets him come around on his time. He is FIV positive.  ##2002738##
