Story
Hello my furiends! We are showering you with April's adorable pictures with the hopes this May bring about an adoption! April is a special cat looking for her special human! She is 3 years old. Don't be fooled by her resting cat face and distaste for being picked up - once she settles in and gets comfy, there's no stopping this girl! She enjoys getting pets and those side chin scratches - you know the ones! April has the softest fur, and her unique markings are part of her charm. April is SUPER playful and loves being around other cats - please provide lots of toys to keep her happy, but no strings! April is a sweet lady who enjoys her independence but truly loves human companionship. She shows love in her own time and on her own terms. April loves her daily routine—knowing what to expect and when to expect it helps her feel comfortable and secure! Since finding her cat pack at the shelter, she has embraced her inner lovebug. She must go to a home with another friendly cat in the family, as this will continue to help her open up to her new family. April spends her days lounging in sunbeams and watching the birds fly by. April will be her best cat self in a home with respectful older children. When April was initially trapped, she was extremely ill. She recovered quickly with multiple rounds of antibiotics and became the playful, alert fluff-ball we knew she would be! When a cat comes to Scruffy, we cannot be sure of the trauma they endured when trying to survive living outdoors. Some are friendly upon arrival, while others, like April, can take longer to open up and trust humans. For this reason, we ask that April's family be experienced with a cat like her - a patient, understanding human coupled with a friendly, outgoing cat to shower her with attention - just watch her blossom! Story
Look at this cat. Isn't she neat? Wouldn't you think your family's complete? Wouldn't you think she's the girl? The girl who has a home? Ariel wants to be where the people are. She wants to be up where they cuddle, up where around the house she may run, up where she has a cozy spot to lay out all day in the sun...wanderin' free wasn't the place to be, wish she could be...part of your world. Little Miss Ariel is a darling 2 year old fluffy grey tabby. Don't let her shy demeanor fool you; once she allows you to become a part of her world, she will demand you shower her with lots of pets! Ariel is playful and curious. She isn't fond of being held or handled. Ariel loves to be around other cats. She will thrive best in a home with another kitty companion. Ariel is a sweet girl; with a bit of patience and a lotta love, she will be her best cat self! Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
