Story
Bella was hit by car but rescued immediately by foster mom that took her to the vet to be checked out.  She was on meds for 10 days and then rechecked at vet and is doing great.  She is very energetic and loves to play and would do better in a house that is full of energy.  She has been the only cat at her foster home and hasn't gotten the chance to meet children or other animals.  She loves to play with toys, especially the ones that squeak.  She loves attention and have been teaching her not to bite hands and play gentle.  Bella entertains us as night as she bounces around running the house.  She is the sweetest girl and is looking for a furever home! She's also Negative for FIV/Leukemia and has had their 1st vaccines and 2nd deworming and treated for fleas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2025, 2:37 pm

Story
This handsome Meowta was found wandering the streets, super skinny and clearly lost. It’s obvious he was once an indoor cat, and we suspect he may have been left behind or gotten lost. Now, he’s safe and ready to find a new forever home. This sweet boy is looking for a family who will keep him indoors where he belongs and shower him with all the love and care he deserves. He’s friendly, affectionate, and just wants to feel at home again—where he can relax, get spoiled, and live the rest of his life in comfort and safety. Could you be the one to give him the loving home he’s been waiting for?

Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Raccoon Kitty was so named because she runs like a raccoon, with her tail straight out behind her. She is a 7 year old, very sweet lady.  Raccoon Kitty was rescued as a kitten and has been fiercely loved by her humans for her entire life. Sadly, she needs a new loving home because her human faces a terminal illness. Raccoon Kitty won't be a turn-key cat. She is a little shy and will need time to acclimate to a new home and new people. Raccoon Kitty is searching for someone who will give her time to be shy for a few weeks and not expect a lap kitty on day 1. She is positively worth the wait. Raccoon Kitty gets along fine with feline friends.  Cyd died on 1/26/25 and Raccoon is waiting for new humans.  Raccoon's adoption fee is $150.  Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2025, 10:39 am

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. This is Sweetie. She is a beautiful girl who adores human attention and gets along ok with her many kitty roommates. She is more of a loner and would likely enjoy being an only cat. Sweetie enjoys her catio time each day and snuggles in her bed at night. We think it would be hard for her to be in a home without a screened-in porch. Sweetie is well loved but her person faces a terminal illness. Sweetie needs a new furrever home where she will be equally loved and receive the attention she craves.  Sweetie's adoption fee is $150. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Story
Juliet is an extremely sweet 13-year-old kitty with beautiful silver fur. A little skittish around strangers, she is very friendly once she warms up to someone. She enjoys being held and getting lovings for short periods, but also values long nap times in a quiet room in front of the window. Juliet's skittishness tends to invite bullying from dogs and she will defend herself with her front claws, so she should not be in a home with dogs or even alpha-male cats, though she should be fine with other calm kitties like herself. Though she has all her claws, she's content using a scratch mat rather than furniture. She has recently been diagnosed with some kidney issues that require her to be on a diet of prescription kidney care soft food. She also needs medication for hyperthyroid. It might be a long shot, but we are hoping to find someone who has a heart for a special needs cat and can afford the food and medication, in order to give her a loving home for her remaining years.

Story
This gorgeous boy just lost his family after being rescued in St. Croix as a kitten over 12 years ago. He is a calm, loving cat who loves his pets and watching everything going on outside. Not sure how he'll do with other cats but he sure deserves a second chance at a loving home. If you are interested in adopting, please go to straylovefoundation.org and fill out an adoption application. Each of our rescues will be COMPLETELY vetted (which includes a combo test, worming, spay/neutered, vaccines, and micro-chipping). We do all in our power to assure our rescues are as healthy as possible and live a long happy life. There is always a chance that an animal we have rescued will have a genetic health issue (since they are rescues there is no way that we can know their family history) or one of our tests falls in that low percentage of false-negative category or a they contract a rare disease that we have no way of knowing about or they contract under your care. We cannot guarantee 100% that your pet will live the 15 to 20 years we hope for but with all that we do for them, the chances are incredibly strong that they will. Transportation fees, when applicable, vary by distance/expense. Home checks may be conducted. We are asking for an adoption donation of $198. On most animals, a tax-deductible adoption donation of $148 is required upon approved adoption application. (This is a fraction of our vet expenses and you are always welcome to donate more.) HOWEVER, when we rescue a special breed, ridiculously adorable, or unusual color, we ask for a higher donation which helps towards our vet expenses. If you can't adopt, donate or sponsor, if you can't donate, volunteer! Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using our email address: info@straylovefoundation.org. Or you can click on the donate button on our FB page (StrayLoveFoundation Magnolia Springs) or click on the donate button on our website home page at www.straylovefoundation.org.
