Story
Meet Marlee, an affectionate adult cat who thrives in a calm and peaceful environment. With a gentle demeanor and a heart full of love, Marlee seeks a fun-loving owner who appreciates the joy of cozy cuddles. This furry friend finds solace in quiet moments, relishing in the tranquility of a serene atmosphere. Their ideal companion would be someone who understands and respects their need for a peaceful setting. When the time comes for playfulness, Marlee is ready to engage with their owner, whisking away any worries and embracing the joy of interactive games. But it's during those cherished snuggle sessions that Marlee truly shines, nestling in close, sharing warmth and companionship with their special human. Unfortunately, Marlee has very little time to find a forever home but her first hu-mama is hopeful for a loving home.

Story
In 2022, we found Mellow wandering in our neighborhood. We took him in and gave him a home. Unfortunately, my mother has developed severe allergies and we can no longer keep him. He’s a very sweet and snuggly boy that loves bigger toys to snuggle with. Mellow loves sunbathing and perches on trees. He’s doesn’t meow much, but he will follow you around the house and will likely want to sleep in the same bed as you. He’s not great with other cats and I suggest for him to be in a one cat household. As is common with male cats, Mellow has a history of cystitis and he’s currently on a UTI prevention food.

Story
Lady Lorena: Energetic. Ball fetching. Tunnel loving. Black Beauty. She has the most unique meow and is very motivated by food and toys. She likes solo play and has even cooperated with a harness and leash. She is truly one of a kind and I wish I had met her under better circumstances. I can't imagine why anyone would ever rehome her. She is a for lifer in my opinion. But my elder cat has put her foot down unfortunately. She is playful. Loves to nap with u and look out of the window. They r very vocal about going out on the patio and runs to the door when u come home from a long day. They will be missed and I wouldnt mind keeping intouch if u were okay with that. They had follow up care at VCA Lilburn and r up to date on all vaccines until 10/25. Then we have Penelope Grace. Her sister via adoption is another beautiful long hair who is playful but gentle. Very quiet. vocal when very necessary. Hides when the doorbell rings but when u are ready to lay down she is too!

We are open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. If you have any questions please email us at info@humanemorgan.org and provide name of the animal you are interested in, in the subject line.
