Meet Shelly, a charming 2-year-old female cat with a heart full of love she’s ready to give you! Shelly is a young mama who is hard at work raising her adorable kittens: Casper, Pumpkin, and Midnight. This pretty lady will captivate you with her gorgeous calico coat, her coloring is so unique! Still just a young kitty herself, Shelly loves to play. When she’s not caring for her little ones, she loves to chase toys around with her foster mom. Shelly is also a very affectionate kitty whose all-time favorite thing is spending time with humans who dote on her! She will happily snuggle up in your lap for cuddles and lull you with her motorboat purr.
A loving young kitty, Shelly would do best in a home with humans who have a lot of time and love to give her. However, she has spent time alone during the day (with other kitty friends), so she is a good mix of cuddly and independent. Because she is easy going and friendly, she would most likely do well in a variety of different home environments, but she does have a slight preference for a calm and peaceful environment. Shelly is still a young and playful little girl and she would love to be in a home with other cats to socialize with, especially one of her kittens! She has been introduced to the resident cats and a dog in her foster home and she has done well with them, although she did show some apprehension. It is likely that she would warm up to new animals over time when given a gradual and patient introduction. Shelly has spent time with children and does very well with them. She enjoys their company and she would do well in a home with respectful children.
One of the sweetest things about Shelly is what a nurturing mother she is! She cares deeply for her young ones and watches out for them nonstop. We are hoping to find Shelly a home where she can be doted on for a change! Shelly loves a peaceful day. One of her favorite activities is gazing out the window, taking in the sights and smells outside. She would absolutely love a window perch in her future home! Another one of Shelly’s favorite activities is playing with her foster mom. She goes nuts for laser pointers and will chase them all over the house! She also loves sparkle and feather toys. This little mama has a major playful side! She will entertain you for hours.
