Story
I rescued Momo in 2019. She was born outside and the mother disappeared when she was only 4 weeks old. The rest of the litter was adopted. She is shy but very playful kitty who is super food motivated. She has zero aggression! I currently have her and another cat plus my roommate has a cat. I believe she is struggling living with so many other animals and people. We have determined she has a chicken and beef allergy and so feed her a fish only diet using Tiki cat brand as it has zero chicken byproducts. She uses the litter box properly. She does well with letting me brush her as long as I have a treat. She is an amazingly sweet cat who is come to you and tap you when she wants affection. I have never had a problem with her getting on counters or tvs stations. She prefers low hidden places and takes lots of naps. She does use scratching posts and loves the ball track toy the most. She truly needs to be a single animal home. Vet said no outdoors or she’d suffer eyesight loss from sun.

Story
Calcifer is a little over a year old. We adopted him from the humane society. He can be shy to new people and places at first and needs someone who is patient. However he is a very cuddly playful boy. He sleeps on our pillow with us every night and cuddles with the cats. We do have a dog that he can be playful with but he gets tired of quickly. What I hope he finds in a new home is loving patient cat parents.

Story
Adopted him from the Kansas Humane Society, he is just under a year old. Has had outdoor access from previous owner but has since been an indoor cat with me. He’s very explorative and curious and will need someone who can give him a lot of attention and stimulation. He’s the sweetest cat, loves snuggles and has no problem being picked up or messed with. I can see him being a great fit for a family or someone with a lot of cats.

If you're in the mood for a massive FLOOF, look no farther! This is Moose, and he's ready to flop his floof right into your heart. Moose loves attention and affection, but he is also independent and not needy. He's a champ at using the litterbox, and he gets along great with other cats, as long as they respect his space and don't expect him to interact with them. Moose gets along well with kids, and he doesn't mind dogs! If you're looking for a big boy with a big heart, come see him soon! To meet Moose, go to WAALrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.

Story
Hello, I'm El Dorado. I'm as precious as the gold city I'm named after. I'm a cuddly, friendly, gentle soul looking for a forever home. I love the feel of carpet under my paws: it's soft, comforting, and keeps me from slipping. I have a slight facial tic; they don't really know why, and I'm perfectly healthy otherwise. I'm just like any other cat, with a bit more love to give. I prefer a home with kids over 12: they understand my gentle nature. I love my foster sister Lucinda and think it would be great if we could be adopted together. I'm litter boxed trained and ready to be spoiled rotten. To meet me fill out an application at waalrescue.org/adopt.
