You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gideon is a very talkative and social fella.  He loves his wet food dinners and hanging out in your lap.  Gideon has done great on first meeting with all most all cats and dogs.  He didn’t seem to like a couple of foster kittens rubbing all over him they got hissed at but no other reaction to others, he greets them with a sniff on the noise.  He can be very chatty when he’s wanting a snack. He was said to have come in the shelter as a stray, but he is too well mannered a boy to have been a stray.  Definitely comfortable being in a home and around other animals.   Gideon came to us in poor condition, rough oily coat and under weight could feel his back bone.  We did bloodwork and discovered he was diabetic.  Our vet said he was a good candidate for Bexacat the daily pill.  We also have him on a lower carbohydrate food.  He gets a can of pate twice a day, on top of bis breakfast i put his pill and watch to ensure he eats it. He also has dry food available to snack on as needed throughout the day.  He has done well on it and agreed by vet he is ready for adoption.  He has gained weight and his coat is coming in beautifully. His adopted family should be familiar with the diabetes symptoms and what to look for as warning signs in need of veterinary visits/treatment.  Would also be beneficial if comfortable with being able to check ketones and blood sugar at home.  Bexacat currently costs about $100 per month, and should plan on $80-$100 food expense as well.  Need also be prepared to have some vet expenses to ensure monitoring his health. Sokka was found stuck in a tree when he was a kitten. After nursing him back to health I decided to try to keep him, but I can't any longer. He is very sweet, extremely social, loves to be pet and played with, does not know a stranger. But, my apartment is too small for him, he stays locked in my room most of the time because I can't let him roam free because he will scratch the couch, or dump the dogs water bowl over, or destroy the curtains, tear down decorations etc. Leaving him in the room leaves him antsy and bored and more destructive, which means I have to lock him up more. It's not fair to either of us and I am hoping that another home would be able to give him the care he needs. I will provide 2 cat trees, litter boxes and every toy he has.

She was a little bit nervous when she first arrived, but she's over those jitters and she's an incredibly sweet, easy-going little lady. She's quick to share a purr with you in exchange for a few chin scratches, she doesn't mind being picked up (great opportunity to bury your face in the fluff!), and she even enjoys being brushed! *Cammie is totally rocking a lion cut right now, but that gorgeous fluff will be back in no time!* Cammie lived with another cat before, so we think she'd be ok with doing it again - but her future family will probably need to help her past the 'new place, new friends' jitters again until she finds her footing. Zane - Black male & Marigold - orange female. Will work for food! These two are semi- social. They will be aloof and not lap cats. We think a shop or nice facility where they have access to daily food will be ideal for them. They are somewhat dependent on each other for contentment. They have lived indoors for a couple of months since being brought to safety from being strays near a busy road. Marigold is about 6 months old and Zane a young adult. They are in great shape. They pair can be adopted for $100. Spay, neuter and vaccines included. The over population is very real. Please consider adoption to save a life! Fees for cats are $90. Hiya, My name is Sir Thomas Joseph, but I usually just go by Tommy. I am about 8-10 years old and looking for a forever home.. I am a quiet and very shy guy. I tend hide when people come around and dont come out til the coast s clear and the house is quiet again. I do have cat siblings that I play with and get along with. My momma was my world and she knew just how to love me. She passed away in January and my human sister has been looking for a forever home for me and my cat siblings. I require a quiet home, without dogs or small children. I do not like to be picked up but will crawl into your lap when I want attention or love, but its rare. My human sister would love to keep me in her home, however she has doggos that arent cat friendly and frankly I would not thrive in a household like that. I just want a chill place with lots f treats and toys for me to play with. I like laying in the window and looking outside, but not sure if I would like the outdoors. Im indoors only
