Maxwell is a 5 year old male tuxedo cat. He was neutered as a kitten. He was never declawed. He has been raised around another cat, and has lived with dogs, and behaves well with both. He is very sweet and affectionate. In the last couple of months he has started urinating outside the litter box. He has been seen by a vet twice for this, both times received antibiotics for potential UTI with no changes in behavior. The vet did not recommend behavioral meds at this time. I have also tried pheromone collars/diffusers, new litter, and his behaviors still persist. I am moving soon and do not have the ability to continue investigating his behaviors so I am looking to rehome him to someone patient and loving who would be willing to work with him.

I got Memphis from a shelter in my hometown 3 years ago. I have had to leave that household and move into one with an aunt that is allergic to cats . I am looking to rehome him. I am struggling as a single mother now to get back ontop of things. Memphis used to go to his vet , and get shots, have a water fountain to drink from and electric litter box. But now he drinks from a bowl, and the electric littler box was too expensive. And I can barely afford to keep paying for regular litter . And I cannot get rid of fleas . I have tried so many products and give him baths. His vet wanted to see him to prescribe medication. But I cannot afford the visit. The other issue is my aunt that I had to move in with is allergic to cats. She has other breathing related issues. And I have held out on having Memphis as long as I could. I don’t want him to go back to a shelter . I know he can get better care from somebody else. Hence the no adoption fee. I want Memphis to get whatever money
