Story
My name is pookie, and I am told that i'm a pretty classy posh, little girl with some pretty fabulous, long fur and gorgeous coloring.  You see, I am a 7-year-old kind of teenage girl who is looking to find a pretty ritzy new home and owners, who are going to appreciate my snazzy looks. Just think what the neighbors will say with me lounging everyday and sunning myself in your window. I also love to play and make you smile. If you were interested in a pretty girl like me, please contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com for more information.January 24, 2025, 8:23 pm

Story
Hey there I am a confident self assured cat ready to take on what comes my way. Purring is my favorite past time, I enjoy being close to humans I am always ready for snuggles and head rubs. I do have gorgeous long hair that will need regular brushing. I would love to have a perch by a window where I can observe the world from up high. Don`t I sound like a great cat for you to take home? What`s Next? We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then heading to the shelter during our normal adoption hours to meet our available animals. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.

Story
Elias is a neutered male long-haired gray tabby, born on July 23, 2024. He is a ball of affection, enjoys lap time and his fur is as soft as it looks! Since he was rescued from outside, he is a little apprehensive at first but is very quick to warm up to people. I will continue to work with him, as he waits for his forever home. Elias enjoys exploring his new indoor surroundings and is getting accustomed to life indoors. He is a beautiful, sweet boy, with such an adorable face! I am enjoying being his foster! The adoption fee is $200. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.January 23, 2025, 9:59 am
