no surrender form, adoption #428 dob 9/1/21 Henry is one of the Kalkaska 38, a huge hoarding rescue TC Paw did over Labor Day weekend. He is a big, gentle guy who loves to be petted and have his back end rubbed. His foster family says he may be frightened at first and want to hide, but he will come out of hiding, and then you'll have a great pet, though he still likes to have a hidey spot he can go to occasionally. He gets along with other cats. He hasn't been around kids and dogs, but Henry has such a gentle disposition that we think he'd be okay after a careful introduction. Story
dob 1/29/19 Zippy came to TC Paw when her owner passed away. Shy at first in her TC Paw foster home, Zippy has warmed up and is now a sweet little lady! She's affectionate but not clingy or demanding. She loves curling up in a cozy spot and watching birds and the world go by outdoors. When she sees her people and is feeling affectionate and flirty, she rolls over on her back and squirm/shifts back and forth. Zippy will likely do best in a quieter home without young children whose unpredictability may startle her. She's okay with other cats after proper introductions, but we think she'd also be completely content on her own. If you are interested in adopting this TC Paw cat or would like to set up a meet-and-greet, please complete the  Pre-adoption Application .   March 1, 2025, 3:51 pm

Story
dob 2/5/21 Stan was a stray, friendly to his finder who fed him but couldn't keep him due to allergies. In his TC Paw foster home, he's still a bit skittish, but he's learning to adjust to inside noises like the vacuum cleaner, the washer, and the dryer. He was an under-the-bed cat when he wasn't eating or getting petted, and he used to run and hide when his foster mom came into the room. Now, however, he comes out when she enters and sits down. He even waits by the door to greet her. Stan cuddles in her lap when she's done with work, and he sleeps with her most nights. Stan loves cuddling and a good brushing now and then. When he's done being touched, he'll move your hand away with his back leg. If you don't get it, he may nip, but that happened only once. He doesn't scratch the furniture. He likes stuffed animals, but he doesn't play with toys much, possibly from being outside and not being played with. He's more into human touch and interaction. He doesn't like quick movements or noisy toys. His foster family has a small dog, and they're working on gradually introducing Stan to him. Stick with regular wet and dry food for Stan. He doesn't tolerate Temptation treats well. Stan has done remarkably well with his new human introductions. In a low-key home with older children, this handsome gentleman will be a great pet.
