Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *Bonded to Teddy-Bear*Toots is a very friendly, loving boy! He is part of a bonded pair with Teddy-Bear —  Click here to learn more about Teddy-Bear! Toots is an indoor kitty who is 7 years old...he is looking for his second chance at life! We would describe Toots as kinda like a ditzy teenager....he doesn't think through all his choices and therefore does many cute and silly things. But his best pal Teddy-Bear is always there to rescue him! After every meal Teddy-Bear gives him a bath and then they cuddle up and take a long snooze. Opposites attract they say! Check out is cute video of Toots and this video of Toots and Teddy-Bear. Toots was an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, Coon Rapids PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page.   Kitty is from an owner surrender with 3 siblings. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 8:45 pm

Story
Cypress has gorgeous long black fur and thinks he is a savage hunter. Once he get ahold of the feather or string toy he doesn't want to let go! He is a quiet boy that prefers to find a sunny spot to cuddle up and nap once he has played all of his energy out. He would do best with older kids and really isn't a fan of dogs as they scare him. All kittens and cats are spayed/neutered and have age appropriate shots. They are tested for feline leukemia, and have received flea/tick and deworming treatments prior to going to their new homes.

Story
Katrina is a long haired brown tabby who has a little orange in her who is about a year old. She has adorable white toes on her front feet and her back feet are all white. She is a complete and total lap cat that comes to you and claims your lap frequently. She loves to spend a good amount of time on your lap getting love and attention. You will not lack for love with this one around. Katrina and her family members were surrendered from a home where conditions were not good and she and her family were covered in fleas. As a result of scratching and matts from neglect, she has lost some hair around her neck area. That will fill back in with time. Right now she is enjoying being treated like a princess, gaining weight and grooming to repair her beautiful coat. Katrina gets along great with the other cats and really shows no interest in the dog. Very, very, friendly girl who seeks attention from all people with a confident and outgoing personality. All kittens and cats are spayed/neutered and have age appropriate shots. They are tested for feline leukemia, and have received flea/tick and deworming treatments prior to going to their new homes.
