Story
Cadfael was born in the woods and was rescued with his brother when they were several months old. He is a loving and social cat in his foster home, but shy with strangers. He likes to play, but frequently from a sitting or laying position. 'Couch potato' is a good description. Cadfael is a large, all black cat with medium-long hair.  He needs small daily brushings to keep him looking his best (but he's not terribly fond of "spa" time!).  Both Cadfael and Charlie like ot play with toys -- either with you or on their own.  They swat small stuffed mice and plastic springs all over their house.   Cadfael & Charlie were adopted as young adults, but weren't given enough time to acclimate to their new surroundings, since they had only been in a single home.  He would do best in a quiet home without young children.  He is good with other cats. Cadfael has always been a healthy and well behaved boy! Story
Meow, and hello out there! It’s Marcia! Marcia! Marcia! And yes I am every bit as beautiful and dramatic as my Brady Bunch namesake. I really brought the drama when I went in for my spay and came out with a neuter! Yes, that’s right, I’m a boy! My mama, Carol, brought us to some nice people in Festus when we were a month old, and a week later we met our foster mom. I am a floofy house panther, and you’d better worship me as the pretty PRINCE I am. Of course, I am very playful like most kittens my age. I love wrestling my 5 siblings and running around the house, but I also think napping on my foster human is nice. I would love a furever home with one of my siblings or another young kitty. I am 3.5 months old as of late July 2024. I will be available for adoption once I’ve recovered from my NEUTER. Story
I am a long haired charcoal grey kitty with orange eyes. I am very handsome! I look bigger than I am because of my long hair. My sister and I are bonded. We are both shy as we were feral. If you adopt us it will take a while for us to warm up. Once we do, we will sit in your lap and be cuddly. I have not been around dogs but get along well with other cats who are not aggressive. Story
Lucy is a 4-year-old domestic long hair female available for adoption through STL Pet Rescue. She is very affectionate, easy-going and has a lot of cute personality. She loves being held, receiving belly rubs, laying in bed with you through the night and playing hide-and-seek with her toys. She is an excellent cat who deserves an excellent long-term home.Lucy has shown to adjust to new locations quickly and is easy to care for. She does not have a habit of scratching furniture, is not food motivated and has no concerning medical issues. She would do best in a family household with multiple humans to share her affection and energy with. She is likely OK with other cats but may conflict with dogs (due to unfortunate prior experiences). We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
