  Petite, sweet lap cat! Sparkles was born to nap in your lap! She will hop up, plop herself in your lap, and purr up a storm. Sparkles also adores being petted, goes crazy for catnip toys, and loves snacking on Churu treats. Sparkles prefers to be the center of attention, and will be happiest as an only pet. This tiny super senior gal enjoys gentle brushing to help keep her long locks beautiful, although most of her body was recently shaved to remove stubborn mats. Sparkles will not jump onto your counters, but she may need some help up onto your couch or bed. Sparkles was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They did the best for all of her Kittys, insuring they are safe before her time.    Cookie isn’t the best at keeping his fur unmatted but he loves a brush and will tolerate a clipper. He loves drinking from the faucet, sitting in your lap, and watching the birds outside. And he is cat and dog friendly!!   Cookie is big and strong and has many good years ahead of him! Hopefully lots of holiday photo shoots because he is an excellent model! Ebony is an extraordinary little cat with an amazing story: this gorgeous girl was born into a feral litter that was raised and educated about Philly streets by two adult ferals, one of which was definitely their mother. Taught to find feeders but avoid humans, this litter of kittens came by regularly for food, building a relationship that required distance, but a certain level of trust.  Then, one day, Ebony was hungrier than she was cautious, she scampered between her foster’s legs for a quick bite of food—and received her first ever (very lucky) head scritch.   That head scritch changed everything for this magnificent little soot sprite, and she realized immediately that she wanted the Scritch Life. This girl has gone from feral street warrior to cuddly love bug in almost no time—you’d hardly know she’d once been a wee feral beastie, owning the streets of West Philly.  She’d do very well with another young or active kitty (or multiple cats, she’s very well socialized to other friendly cats) in the home, and has become quite friendly with her foster’s pit bull (they exchange nose boops and sometimes she gives head butts).  Important note: she’s still learning that humans are safe, and sources of love and kindness. Sergeant Pepper is always ready to be your best friend! He may be shy at first and take some warming up, but this guy will end up attached at your hip begging for love and attention! He is a big lug who prefers to nap in your lap all day with endless pets and will let you know with a little meow when he wants them. He likes to play and is great for someone who spends time at home relaxing.
