Story
BONDED PAIR (Pumpkin and Binx) needs a home with no other pets:  Pumpkin is roughly 4 years old. He is sweet, cuddly and truly a lovable cat. He is very playful and active. Every night he chases Binx all over the house. He loves kids. He rubs all over everyone and gives them kisses. I do not believe he would do well around other animals - especially males; he is territorial.   Binx is roughly 2 years old. She is adventurous and outgoing. She is very active. She loves wrestling with Pumpkin. She does enjoy her alone time as well too and lets Pumpkin know when she just wants to relax. She loves everyone, including kids and other animals. Visit him at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4 on Saturday, or apply to adopt to coordinate a meet and greet outside those times if you have a home without other cats.  All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, vaccinated (whatever they can have in the period they are in our care, some will still need additional vaccines after adoption), given dewormer and flea preventative and provided care for any known illnesses during their time with us.     All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. March 30, 2025, 1:25 am

Story
Luna is a super sweet and cuddly girl. She was born in the summer of 2020, and is a well-behaved queen! She has the sweetest little meows, and loves to be near (and on!) her people. Over the years, we have realized that Luna will do best in a home where she is the only female cat, and where dogs to not live. She gets very anxious around our dog. And after many allergy visits for our son, it is apparent that the allergies are too significant to continue cohabitating. Ultimately, while we love her, we believe there is a better home out there for her. She deserves a place where she can be the star that she is! I cannot emphasize enough how sweet and gentle she is :’) It was a tough decision for us to finally decide to rehome this little girl, so we will be picky with who she goes home to.
