Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Belpre, Ohio

Diva is a 4-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 13, 2024 along with her two companions (Leeloo and Hefty) who had shared her home. Their owner had passed away recently, and there wasn't anyone else who could offer to take care of them. Another companion (Bruce Willis) was brought in a few days earlier on June 11th. Diva has a brown tabby longhaired coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful face with a white muzzle, a pink nose, and long white whiskers. These preliminary photos were taken on the afternoon of June 13th (the day that Diva was brought to our shelter). Diva is understandably sad and frightened being in a small cage. Diva is a 'diamond in the rough' since her coat was very matted at the moment, but we wanted to share her pictures so that potential adopters would know that she is in our shelter and needs a loving home. Diva was given vaccinations on June 24, 2024. Diva was taken to a spay/neuter clinic on June 25, 2024 for her spay procedure. When Diva was examined by the attending veterinarian, she made the determination that Diva had previously been spayed. Diva was given rabies vaccine that day and was also given some basic grooming (cleaning, clipping/shaving matted fur). Diva weighed 7.9 lbs that day. Diva is still adjusting to 'life behind bars' and our HSOV kennel techs are doing their best to make her feel welcome and to know that she will eventually find a new home with someone to love her. Aries is a handsome 7-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on August 2, 2024 because she was unable to take care of him. This debonair gentleman has a dark brown tabby long-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and a regal-looking face with golden eyes, extra-large ears with nice 'ear furnishings', a brown velvet nose, a white beard on his chin, and beautiful long white whiskers. Aries was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on August 2, 2024. He weighed 9.2 lbs that day. His owner told us that Aries was good with other animals (but didn't specify whether that included dogs as well as cats) .. And he is good with children. Aries was calm, chill, and very distinguished-looking when we stopped by to take his photos on August 13, 2024. Aries had been moved to The Jungle Room (one of our cat adoption rooms) where he was taking a leisurely afternoon nap, and he was quite charming though he obviously was anxious to get back to his nap (smile). Aries has already been neutered, so he could leave our shelter with his new family rather quickly with an approved HSOV adoption application. Aries is also available for rescue. JACKS - Male approx 6 years oldLook at this big beautiful boy! Jacks is an amazingly stunning and large cat. He’s super sweet and playful and seems to do well with other cats. His owner passed away leaving Jacks and Julia. They don’t seem to be bonded so they can be adopted separately. JULIA - Female approx 6 years old.Julia has such unique colors and markings, she has a dilute siamese and calico coloring and has pretty blue eyes. Sweet little Charlie was brought into the shelter along with other cats. They were strays hanging around a home from previous litters of cats. Charlie is a young kitty and nervous. However she can be very sweet when you give her time. She's enjoying herself in a social cat room now. She's spayed and up to date.
