Story
This pretty lady is looking for a new home. Fluffy is litter box trained but would probably do best in a home without kids or other pets. She disappears when there are children in the house and sometimes chases her housemate kitty around the house. Definitely the alpha cat. She is an indoor cat but spends a lot of time outdoors. She is a very good mouse/vole/mole catcher. She is spayed. She was dropped off as a kitten five or six years ago at Rick and Sharon Allen’s barn. They would like to rehome her due to allergies and health issues. Please call them at 509-395- zero zero 24 if you are interested.

Story
Hi, my name is Iggy. My human person is working and going to school, so she is gone a lot! She is really busy with all of that and she hasn't had the time for us, like she use to. She is working with SCC to help me and my brother, Vader a home where we can be together. We are very bonded. Ferguson is our other house brother (so, if you were wanting three of us - - wink, wink!) So, about me, I am about 11 years old and would like a less busy house. Sometimes when I get stressed, I have been known to pull out the fur on my belly. Stress can come from a trip to the vet, but seriously, who likes getting into a box and then a car ride to go get poked at by strangers. I would prefer to hang out with my people. I am known to be quite the lap cat. I do ok with kids of all ages, though the younger ones can be a bit noisy. But, if they can brush me, that would be great! I have always loved fresh water, so a fountain would be a nice addition to my new home. I have been known to sit at the edge of the tub or shower and try to drink. So far, I haven't fallen in. I have lived an indoor only life and that suits me fine. A perch by the window so I can watch the world go by - who could ask for anything more! I will be brought current on my FVRCP vaccine and microchipped as a part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 10, 2025, 2:49 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Lucy and my brother, CH - Chris and I are looking for a very special person. You see, our human mom took us off the streets as feral cats when we were really young - as cats go, but probably as feral cats go, really too late to 'flip us', to be regular house cats. She really loves us! But time, of course, is the demon of our fate. You see, she went into assisted living and was unable to take us with her. My brother Chris, he is really my protector - kind of like my emotional support animal (and I am his). He is way more outgoing than I am, so, if you are looking for a 24/7 lap cat, he would be the one, but you see, we are a package deal. He is my voice. Because we are ramping down on 12 years old, SCC got us a senior blood panel and in the scheme of things, we are doing alright. Our foster person tricked me into getting into a carrier - - not cool, but I got a sedated shave of my belly, and my 3 yr rabies shot during that 'adventure' - - - So, let me tell you about me. I am a petite girl (most of what you see in my pictures is fluff) I am under 8 pounds. I am a timid girl My brother is a bit more outgoing and he is my mighty protector. As you can see from our pics, we are very bonded and are often perched together by the window, watching the world go by. We also like to play with catnip mice inside crinkly, kitty tunnels. Our foster has a camera in the room and watches us play. We would be best in a quiet home environment, retirees that live a quiet life, and are home more. If friends or family do come to visit, they might not see us, but you should know that we will be waiting for your company to leave so that we can come out. As you might assume, kids are a bit noisy for us, and even though we had a dog in our lives before, we can do without that. We are current on our vaccines and microchipped and are very good with our litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 15, 2025, 2:14 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Pixie. Sometimes when life gets bumpy for the 2 legged folks, us 4 legged folks feel it too! My human had to move back east and couldn't take me with him, so I have been staying with friends. They are also moving, so they reached out to SCC to see if we can find a fur-ever home for me! So, about me, I am a fluffy girl, all of 4 years old. I might be initially timid, and it doesn't take me long to warm up and then I am a pretty chill girl. I get along with everyone - we had three BIG dogs and I was ok with them. I like kids too! I am a happy indoor only girl, to me it is more about being with my humans. I tested negative for FELV/FIV, am current on vaccines, microchipped and very good with the litterbox. So, get busy with that application and lets set up a meeting!!If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 2, 2025, 9:46 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Reece. My mom is helping me to find a new home because I am not happy with the other cats in the house. The other cat is really bossy!! I have been fighting with them and acting out. I do ok with the two legged folks in the house, even the kiddos, but I really would like to be your one an only. I have had a bit of outdoor time, but could probably adjust to being indoor only. I do like toys and am an avid hunter of toy mice. I will be brought current on my vaccines and microchipped as a part of the adoption process. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 6, 2025, 12:48 am
