Buffy was abandoned in an apartment and brought to us by the landlord. We do not have any background information. She is a very beautiful cat with a persnickety attitude. Sometimes she likes attention, sometimes she likes to be left alone.

Meet Ricotta! Ricotta was brought to ICHS along with a few other cats after the person who was taking care of them passed away. Ricotta and her friends came to us spayed, neutered, and with tipped ears. So, due to that and them being under-socialized, we can assume that these guys were someone's outside cats. That being said these cats are making progress every day! Ricotta has proven to be the most stubborn to change and spicy out of all of her friends. She does not enjoy the company of our shelter staff just yet. However, our staff refuse to give up on her and are working hard to help socialize this gorgeous girl. Who can blame her for being upset, her whole life changed when she was brought to us! Meet Jade! Jade was brought to ICHS at no fault of her own. Jade is a super sweet and loving cat. She loves receiving all the pets that she can from our shelter staff. While Jade is friendly, she would probably do best in a house without small children as she likes to have her boundaries respected as she can get overstimulated sometimes. Aside from getting attention from our staff, Jade enjoys lounging around in her cat bed and snacking on wet food! If you decide to adopt this gorgeous girl, you will have no problem taking Jade places since she loves getting into the carrier! Most cats do not walk in that willingly. Mary is part of the Sanderson Sisters. They are adorable kittens who are a little bit shy right now, but we're hoping to socialize them so they can find their forever homes. Diamond is a volunteer favorite who has surprisingly not found a forever home yet! Not only is she absolutely gorgeous with her luscious long fur, but also she loves everyone she meets.
