Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania

We adopted Bitties (Bebe) in 2020 as a kitten from a rescue shelter. She was great with our first cat when we brought her home. He passed away and we adopted another cat in 2024 that we never imagined she would not get along with. She HATES him and has taken to staying in our basement in the rafters. She hardly comes out unless we go down to feed and pet her. We keep them separate as much as possible but this is no life for her. She cannot be happy living in a dark, small space like this. It breaks my heart to have to re-home her, but we have tried for over a year to get them to coexist and it simply has not worked. I can’t watch her go on like this. She is the sweetest, most loving cat. She gets along great with our kids, but she is skittish of loud or aggressive behavior. We also adopted a dog and I don’t think she likes our dog at all. She needs a calmer environment where maybe she is the only animal. Thank you!

Mandy was surrendered to us when her owner sadly killed herself and the rest of the family had kept her in a basement and were threatening to throw her outside. Needless to say when she came to us she was terrified and defensive at first because she had witnessed everything that had happened and was very traumatized. She has even decompressing in foster and is now ready to find her forever family. Mandy is a very sweet girl once she settles in and knows you. She will hiss and be nervous at first but once she is comfortable she absolutely adores being petted and will sit on your lap! She would do best in a quiet household with no children where she is given time initially in her own safe space while she gets used to her new environment. A patient owner is a must! She is the sweetest girl and deserves a happy rest of her life to counteract what she’s been through! She has lived with other kitties in the past but slow introductions are a must. Any other cats would be laid back and probably only 1 or 2 at most. She is spayed, FIV/Felv negative, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea preventative. Hello! I am Luna. I am a special girl and I`m in search of a forever family. I came from a unique home where I lived with lots of other cats, but not many other people. When I got to the shelter, I found all the new noises, smells, and people to be really overwhelming. I was very scared, shut-down, and didn`t want to be around anyone. Meet Giana! This 4 year old girl came to Animal Friends via the Humane Investigations department. Giana is an independent and shy gal, so she would benefit from a cat-savvy, patient adopter who can give her some time and space to adjust to a new home at her own pace. Meet Khloe! This 13yo long hair calico princess came to us when her owner was unable to care for her. Khloe is visually impaired--her home will need to realize that her sight is limited and she will need to adjust to your routine, home, etc. Khloe really, really does not like other cats--she demands to be the Queen of her Kingdom! Her ideal home would be a quiet, cat saavy one that knows Khloe is going to need a bit of time to adjust to her new throne. Once she settles in, she is lovely--her foster home reports: She's a true people cat. She's a little chatty--she has the cutest gravelly meows, and she purrs constantly. Her favorite pets to receive are back pets, cheek scritches, and scritches on the top of her head. She's very laid back and is happy to just sit beside you as you read or relax and purr away. Because she can't see you, to say hello, she uses her nose and ears to put her face nice and close to yours, and sometimes she'll even give you a quick kiss. She has shown a bit of interest in playing with toys that make noise (or that you make make noise) but if the movements are too erratic she gets scared. Overall, she seems to prefer lounging and cuddling!
